I don't think they're lesbians, their site bio lists carole's husband and being married and lists paula's children.

@Colortiniz They're not, that's just Robot Chicken's parody mix they added. It ties around they are two girls on a kid show; same thing if they were two guys on a kid show, they would have been considered gay even if they really weren't.
