yeah, ska has a "happy upbeat tone" stereotype, which can be pretty true (like Reel Big Fish is one of the happiest sounding bands ever) but not all of it is. Streetlight makes some of the most serious music out there.

"Blonde Lead the Blind" is dixieland, just like "Walking Away" is sort of swing. I could go on like this, but I don't think that ONE of their songs is actually ska.
