im actually about to start reading george orwell's "1984" i just finished "johnny got his gun" by dalton trumbo. if you have time, i recommend it. that is if you like war stories

I've only read one war story-ish book before, and I liked it so I'll put it on my "to read" list. :)

Right now I'm reading Catcher in the Rye for the first time, and I already love it.

Oh, and if you like Orwell, you might also enjoy Palahniuk, if you want to look into it.

ive actually read a palahniuk book; haunted. i plan on buying a few more. ive also read catcher in the rye three times. well actually 4 but i didnt finish it junior year of high school. so i re-read it at 19, 21 and then 22.

im on page 67 of 1984 right now and while reading it all i can think about are films like "the warriors" "escape from LA" "escape from new york" "demolition man" mainly because of how the times are suppose to be in the future with no law and rampage in the streets.
