well...the new 1.5 Snapdragon processor is worse than the 1.2 GHz Exynos Samsung processor...

@mkitche3 huh? i don't understand what you're trying to say....the 1.5GHz snapdragon in the skyrocket sucks....yea it's LTE capable but the processing speed is slower than the Exynos 1.2GHz processor...the only reason why they didn't use the Exynos in the skyrocket is because it's not LTE capable....the newer 1.5GHz Exynos is going to be capable of LTE....Snapdragon processors suck....period

@dpaik360 i probably wasn't clear, thats my bad. I was agreeing that the Exynos is much faster than the 1.5Ghz snapdragon. Just agreeing that its a good case where numbers don't equal performance

Guys theres a new update 2.3.6 available that fixes the home button and multitasking. you can hold the home to bring up the task manager and recently opened apps.

I did the root first, then I updated to 2.3.5 which overwrote the root. Can I re-run the root steps on this phone with the 2.3.5 running?

The S2 is the better phone for most. LTE has limited coverage right now. The processor on the S2 at 1.2 ghz is actually faster than the 1.5 ghz snapdragon on the Skyrocket.

@Biggerbyte thats due to more bloatware, if you TiFreeze them and benchmark it is slightly faster, plus you can overclock it higher too

@AznKenshin This vid is for the NON skyrocket version, just the plain SGS2. You can change your UI by using a custom rom. Try the unnamed rom
