The thing I have 2 say about the Mavs in 06 was they KICKED ASS!!! Not only the best Rec in the NBA but the BEST LINE UP, if you want the MAVS to win you need to bring back THE GENERAL AVERY JOHNSON & DEVIN HARRIS & JOSH HOWARD keep KIDD even thought i dont like him much, he can get the ball down court...REALLY ALL IT IS, IS 2 WORK HARD!!!!!

I'm a Kings fan and we also felt the same PAIN after losing to the Lakers in 2002, I really felt very very bad for the Mavs also because they too should have won a Championship if it wasn't for those DAMN refs and rediculous ASS calls. No matter how you look at it the KINGS & MAVS simply got screwed and ripped off they both should have won an NBA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP.

Best intro. Worst finals officiating ever. Just look at the fact that so and so whatever his name is ref has a record of 18-1 in the playoffs with the Mavs losing when he officiates and is proud of that statistic.

Thats the thing about superstars like Wade, Jordan, Lebron & Kobe the refs will call fouls every single time even if you just BREATH on those guys. After game 5 of the 2006 Finals the Mavs were mentally worn down by the refs, even returning home for game 6 could not help the Mavs regain their lost momentum because the DAMN refs hepled Miami get the championship. WHAT A SHAME...

Same here, I hope Dallas wins it ALL. 2006 was a learning experience and a heart braking loss they suffered at that time, but the tough times is what makes you stronger down the road. The Maverics will shine again.
