  • Tom Baker was a great Doctor Who!

  • Tom Baker was a great Doctor Who!

  • Great

  • Only one picture of 10th Doctor??? HE IS THE BEST!!! Why just one picture???

  • excellent tune!

    thx for share

  • I enjoyed every incarnation of The Doctor except for Colin Baker. Tom Baker remains my all time favorite, with Christopher Eccleston as my 2nd favorite. To me, the jury's still out on Matt Smith.

  • everytime i see this video i want to watch all the doctor who episodes

  • @TheFingerbuns Quiet you!

  • @TheFingerbuns BURN IN HELL FOR YOUR CRIMES AGAINST MATT SMITH!!

  • my fave docter is 10

  • PS I LOVE the photo of the Doctor, the Master, Jo, and the Brigadier all posing & smiling next to the TARDIS! :D

  • I love each doctor... each had his own unique charm, and quirks... I wish Chris Eccleston embraced the series more because I would have liked to see at least one more season with him in it!!! I love David, I love Matt, I love 'em all!!!

  • Hi! Great music to go with it. What's the name of the song?

  • I too would like to have a download of the last graphic to use as wallpaper.

[You had a few pix I had never seen before, well done]

    thx

  • 10th doctor=best doctor

  • @ThirteenPeeps Though, I've never actually seen much Matt Smith...

  • this song is so sad...i wanna meet Tom Baker...hes cool

  • Even though I have only seen Eccleston, Tennant and Smith's episodes, I know I am a true fan. I'm not just a Doctor Who fan, I'm a second generation Whovian. My father has watched the series since it's early days. He has seen every Doctor and knows the show well. I became a fan because of him.

  • Am I the only one that noticed that the doctor gets younger with each regeneration?

  • @pigscanfly522 That is almost true but Peter Davidson 5th was younger then Colin Baker 6th and Jon Pertwee 3rd was a year older then Patrick Troughton 2nd

  • Have you got that last picture as a download for desktop ?

  • @gildan Hellz yeah! :-)

  • @SuperWolsey Id love to put that last image on my desktop as well! :D

  • @SuperWolsey

    share, now!

  • What a beautiful tribute.

  • OOHH!!! Where did you find the last picture of all 11 doctors animated???!?!?!?! I want it!!!!

  • I have only watched episodes containing the Doctors 9,10, and 11. Am I a true fan? Hell yeah I am

  • My fave Doctors are four, five, nine and ten :)

  • @EroStrom I agree but the 3rd was exelent too,and we need to cut the eleventh doctor some slack. Now I know he broak our hearts by taking the tenth doctor,But thats just the way the show works. :)

  • @EroStrom AGREED!

  • thumbs up if you think there should be the Eleven Doctors movie with them all

  • @preyus7 well.. it's a good idea, but the original 3 have passed into time..

  • @wanderer711 And they can't recast why? Before you say it Richard Hurndall (The Five Doctors) played the FIRST Doctor quite well & resembled Hartnell too.

  • @Lazyike67 I agree, he did an excellent job. It actually wouldn't be hard for Hartnell. I have noticed several older actors who do look like him. But Pertwee would be difficult. Not sure about Troughton though. I wonder if people would accept actors in their places, understand why, and still embrace the Meaning of the Episode(s)

  • @wanderer711 They could do an Animated 11 doctors special I think more fans would be accepting of that and then for a live action special use Doctor's 4-11 and stock footage of 1-3 and perhaps explain they are trapped in a time vortex or something

  • @preyus7

    Wish it was possible :( 1, 2, & 3 have passed away

  • @Hadra568 You ARE aware there have been TWO "First" Doctors in the original series? William Hartnell & Richard Hurndall (The Five Doctors) . So want to revisit your comment?

  • @preyus7 Stop whoring for thumbs up to satisfy your childish craving for artificial online popularity.

    Thumbs down. Failure.

  • @preyus7 A few are dead, so their is no hope of this ever occurring.

  • i love this vid i just wish the new fans would start watching some of the old stuff and thats why allot of the new fans bug me u are not a whovian unless you continue to watch some of the old stuff i don't care if u like the 10th and shit all of em are good but people need to start watching the old stuff its easy to find and buy

  • @diehippie9000 So I'm not a fan because I haven't watched the old show? Typical.

  • @Gannon191 yeah sorry im not trying to be an ass but if you cant watch any of the old episode ur not a fan. try watching some of the old episodes like one or two a month for you id suggest u watch stuff with the fourth or fifth doctor to start tom baker is the fourth and peter davidson is the fifth

  • @diehippie9000 Considering I'm not even done with Tenant, no.

  • @Gannon191 well when ur done with tenant and smith do it cus the old show is great been watching it since before the show got revamped just trying to help een tho at the same time im being an ass

  • @Gannon191 or if you like mattsmiths doctor watch the second doctor the 11th is base almost entirely off of the second

  • @diehippie9000 Fairly close, though I think #2 was a little more scatterbrained (BUT STILL GOT THE JOB DONE!)

  • @wanderer711 yup BUT all the doctors are good its just sad how the bbc gave them shit because for the longest time they only had a few days to do each episode and one for shooting so they had to do everything in one go and heartnell had one shot to read his lines and so he messed up alot but he still twisted em to his advantage and that's a good acting skill

  • @diehippie9000 :) Thank you, I didn't know that about BBCs production blunders back then. It's too bad. they taped over all the older episodes. Would have loved to have seen all of the Hartnell era. It seems as he goes on the Doctor gets Younger and Less Cranky.

  • @wanderer711 welcome :b i have some hertnell episodes on vhs i have the second and third doctor who episode and a few other hartnell ones my bro has more but they are good just very very long but id love to see the first doctor tell off the new ones and bicker at each other but they would have to get a look alike and i think they can do that for the other doctors too if they need to for the 50 anniversary

  • that bloody wax doctor....

  • I still can't get over the fact that the 5th Doctors daughter married the 10th Doctor.

  • @characteravatar i know right its kinds weird

  • @diehippie9000 and the fact that Peter Davidson was David Tennants first Doctor!

  • @characteravatar He used to say that Baker was his favourite though. And that's why he wears a scarf in the Christmas Special he first appeared. Check it! But the 10th with the 5th's daughter? Cool!!!!

  • Uhh I don't remember 8th(Paul McGann) having any episodes at all let alone either of those 2 companions. the companion he did have (Daphne Ashbrook) wasnt even shown. (and I didn't care for that movie either, but at least they put a brit in the role. if it had been american actor, i expect there would've been a riot.)

  • @turbopokey He didn't. There was talk about it. He was well received as The 8th Doctor, but it was the Movie that killed him. (Bloody Americans.. oh wait.. I am one.. I swear, some of my fellow country members have no taste)

  • My Whoniverse will never contain the 8th. I prefer to think there's one incarnation missing then that travesty of a TV movie. Ugh.

  • Brilliant

  • he died 11 times

  • @wemyxx 11 times too many :'(

  • @DragonFire61100 when river song revived him he didnt get hers he just didnt have to use one of his or die retard.

  • @ningadude98 actually if you rewatch the episode it is clearly stated in his condition the doctor couldn't regenerate if he died that was it the poison River gave him prevented him from using a regeneration so yes River gave him her regenerations and as River is a human with timelord dna it is unclear how many regenerations River was limited to or how many she used, we know she used atleast 3 regenerations on her own but again as River is a hybred of sorts it is unclear.

  • @brandoman79 ouch.. my head hurts now.. and who knows. there's never been a human/timelord hybrid before. Maybe the Doctors affinity for us (poor guy) has to do with Evolution of his own people. Unlimited Regens perhaps?

  • Simple transitions and zooms, done on basic sofware, but done BRILLIANTLY! You have touched my heart with this! added to my fave's too!

  • I feel sad when it gets to Colin Baker's bit. He gave the job so much devotion and the BBC gave him so little in return. What upsets me most is that most of his era consists of audio plays.

On a more positive note, Tom Baker's bit was sweet.

  • i think the doctors got more hot over the years, highest piont david tennant!

  • WooPs

  • Awesome job! I love it!

  • RIP Sara Sladen

  • @enterprise1476 Her name was Elizabeth. Sara was the name of her character on Doctor Who.

  • This song is perfect for them D: so sad but wonderful at the same time. Thank you for sharrrinnnnng! x3!

  • Nice video! I wish you had more of 9 and 10, though.

  • the really funny thing is they all wear the same type of coat with diffrent designs!

  • PETER CUSHIING PETER CUSHIING PETER CUSHIING PETER CUSHIING PETER CUSHIING

  • Because his films strayed from the original material. Thus declared non-canon or one of many alternate Doctors (I.e. Trevor Martin, Rowan Atkinson, David Warner, etc)

  • @SuperWolsey you could include Richard Hurndall who played the 1st doctor in the Five Doctor's special as that was a canon story

  • Why do they not count Peter Cushing in the count of the number of persons who have played THE DOCTOR ?

Check out imdb dot com title

    tt0059126

  • @JohnOlly1965 because it isnt connected to the show. Do a quick plot search on it and it wont take you long to realize the Dr. Who movies couldnt be farther from the show and still retain elements from it.

  • Isn't the 1st Doctor dead?

  • @Bromthebard The actors who played the first 3 Doctor's - William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton and Jon Pertwee - are deceased.

  • @Bromthebard Yes. Hartnell, (First Doctor( Troughton (Second Doctor) and Jon Pertwee (Third Doctor) have all died.

  • I love how the Doctor has changed from old as hell (1st) to really young (11th).

P.S. Matt Stone and David Tennant FTW!

  • this song was played at the end of journeys end!

  • 1:23 I've always thought Romana was a hottie :)

  • @sixstanger00 Which one? I prefer Romana I.

  • Nice!

  • They should do a modern "The Three Doctors" episode with Eccleston, Tennant, and Matt Smith. I would kill to watch that.

  • @Kinin4 Agreed. Time Crash was awesome already. Add to that Eccleston and Smith and holy crap! XD

  • @Kinin4 so would I

  • @Kinin4

Matt Smith suggested that and more at Comic-Con. Fact of the matter is, only he and the pre-2005ers would do it. Eccelston has serious issues with the show, and Tennant, even though he essentially killed his acting career when he left, wouldn't come back either, unless he decided to admit to past faults and accept his typecasting.

  • @WarLordM1 On the subject of Eccleston, there is a possibility he might considering the producers he had a grudge with have left.

  • @WarLordM1 I wonder how they would explain all of the pre-2005 Doctors being much older, overweight, and looking nothing like their former selves? Paul McGann still looks pretty good, but Colin Baker's put on a LOT of weight and obviously no longer has the mop of blond curls his Doctor is known for. But, maybe they'll let him wear the blue coat!

  • @SarahB1863 Why would they need to? Maybe a past incarnation gits to get older in their time stream.

  • @Kinin4 That would be cool! But I'd love to see a four Doctors with McGann, Eccleston, Tennant, and Matt!

  • @Kinin4 No, it should Have Eccleston, Tennant, Matt and the 8th Doctor... Which would then be able to explain how 8th regenerated into Eccleston! :D

  • @Kinin4 Eccleston has already confirmed he will not be returning to the role of the doctor.

  • @jh26171994

    A Whovian can dream. :)

  • @Kinin4 my brother said the were going to have an episode with all ll doctors

  • @jackietv3

Your brother's either pulling your leg or is mistaken. :P

Several of the Doctors are dead. I don't deny that would be f***ing awesome! :D

  • @Kinin4 yes several are dead but he said they are getting actors that look like him

  • @jackietv3

    I'm skeptical. :/

In any case, Eccleston and Tennant almost certainly wouldn't do it.

  • @Kinin4 I agree

  • Atleast the show gives an explanation as to why The Doctor can look so drastically different in some episodes than in others!

  • I just noticed but did Baker have a lazy eye?:O

  • Ood song of captivity, so touching :')

  • I just had a random vision (or picture/image in my head) of Daniel Radcliffe being the next doctor. I'm don't see really but I had that random image in my head

  • I've met Sylvester McCoy :)

  • I wish I could bring back everyone involved in the first two doctor whos (If they are dead ) and show them the doctor now. I wonder what they would say

  • tom baker and lalla ward were the best. im writing fan fiction about her returning

  • I love how I recognized this song from the Ood immediately.

  • i love how they made matt smiths doctor look and even walk and run like the second doctor and even used oh i see you'v redecorated hmm i dont like it again in closing time

  • @diehippie9000 I spotted that too, the doctor says it to the brigadier in the five doctors story. Nice :O)

  • @MikeSutcliffe07 yep thank ya

  • Ood Song of Freedom!

  • the 11 different faces of the same man :) god how much i love doctor who i hope it never ends :D

  • @warbossgrotsmasha23

The Doctor only has two regenerations left, The Council of Time Lords where the only ones that could grant a new full set of regenerations (They offered such to The Master during The Five Doctors if he helped The Doctor, it's unknown whether said regenerations where ever granted). So it will be interesting to see what happens.

  • @SnJester But you forget River gave the Doctor her 10 remaining regenerations. So he has actually 12 regenerations left.

  • @DragonFire61100 As river would say, SPOILERS! ;)

  • @SnJester The Council of Time Lords no longer exists - the Doctor is the last Time Lord. He can choose to regenerate as many times as he wants to. In an episode of The Sarah Jane Adventures the Doctor stated that he could regenerate over 500 times.

  • @57DW Canonically speaking that would have been a lie on the doctors behalf.

It's been stated in multiple occasions in multiple episodes that a timelord only has thirteen lives

Yes River gave up all of hers to save The Doctor, Yes the council no longer exists but I was stating what has been laid out in the classic stories (As well as the 8th Doctors movie)

  • @SnJester The 13 regenerations rule has never been mentioned in the new series, so it's probably been abandoned. The show will obviously continue past 13 regenerations if it's popular. I can't imagine the doctor being killed and not regenerating.

  • @57DW it wasnt 13 regenerations i think it was 5 or somat as mentioned in the movie. and the doctor managed to get past it.

  • @SnJester the writers can get around it two ways, besides the books we have no televised adventures of the Doctor's adventures between his 8th and 9th regenerations because of the Time War we don't know if the Council gave the doctor more regenerations, the number of 12 was made law by Rasilon(sp) during his original Presidency a Time Lord could regenerate unlimited times he made the ruling to limit it. The Doctor is an ex President we don't know if being a former President allows him extra.

  • Shame that the first 3 are dead :'(

  • I wish Amy would leave and some one else be 11s companion she has had him the entire time!

  • @rockohulkdoctorwho I know when they were on TV. Technically McCoy was the Doctor from 1987-1996 (when McCoy regenerated) and McGann was the Doctor from 1996 - 2005. 9 years each. There were audio books and other things which are considered canon. Therefore they are technically the longest serving Doctors, while Tom Baker is longest serving televised Doctor.

  • Are the first 4 doctors dead?

  • @j0sheed00d The actors? no. Tom baker, the 4th, is still around I am certain. He's larger and has less colour in his hair but is still alive and kicking!

  • @j0sheed00d first 3 are dead

  • @captinawesomesauce Matt Smith?

  • @rockohulkdoctorwho If you want to be technical, I'm pretty sure McCoy (7th Doctor) held the position for slightly longer than McGann - but only by a couple of months or so.

  • @dragonash1993 McCoy was doctor from 1987-1989 for the TV show and returned in 1996 for the movie. McCann was only in the 1996 movie.

  • Regardless of people's opinions, I still wish we could one day see the Eighth Doctor Regenerate into the Ninth Doctor.

  • @rockohulkdoctorwho i think it can be that the paul mcgann was the form of the doctor until we saw christopher eccleston

  • 8th doctor was an amazing one, shame he was only used in the 1996 tv movie

  • David tennant is my favorite doctor( #10)

  • @rockohulkdoctorwho Again, as I stated before, Regardless of the TV movie, McGann was the incumbent Doctor from after it aired til Eccelston turned upon screen. Not everyone accepts what on TV only.

  • @SuperWolsey Yes but all the books and comics crap besides the TV movie of the 8th doctor was all 1996, maybe 1997. None 1998-2005.

  • @rockohulkdoctorwho To you they're crap, but for others (myself included) they're not crap. Mind you if it wern't for Doctor Who Magazine, Big Finish Productions, Virgin, and BBC Books, we wouldn've have 9-11, The Sarah Jane Adventures & (unfortunately) Torchwood. These were/are the show's life support

  • Comment removed

  • @rockohulkdoctorwho If you don't like the vid or my listing of Doctors then don't bother replying back and move on. No need to be an asshat about it.

  • @SuperWolsey so i herd u dont liek torchwood.

  • @SuperWolsey And to you it's unfortunate that we have Torchwood, but for others (myself included) it's not unfortunate. I am a fan of the comics, the books, and all the on TV productions including spin offs.

  • @rockohulkdoctorwho Actually a lot of the radio stories, which are canon and included in the history of the TV show, are 8th doctor and were made this century not in 1996&1997.

The 8th doctor did play a much larger role than the 9th in the main story line. 9th doctor WAS the shortest incarnation, discounting the pre-1996 Peter Cushing movies which are not canon.

  • @rockohulkdoctorwho no their was a book series for his doctor that ran up to either 2004 or 2005

  • Is the song some kind of remix of Vale Decem or something, because I think of that song when I hear this.

  • 8th doctor wasnt 1996-2005 only 1996

  • @rockohulkdoctorwho 8th Doctor - 1996-Time War (Event date yet unknown but sometime between 1999-2005) 9th Doctor - Time War (Or sometime after) - 2005...

  • I like Colin Baker's blue coat.

  • @doctorjade8th The 8th Doctor was the Doctor until the 9th took over, that's 9 years.

  • the 8th Doctor was the OFFICIAL Doctor from 1996 - 2004, making him the longest serving incarnation to date despite having the shortest screen-time of any incarnation to date also. Aside from just one TV movie, the 8th Doctor appeared in a large number of novels and audio adventures.

  • @doctorjade8th Im aware of that. Question is are you aware that there are others who consider Big Finish, DWM, & the novels his era more that just the TV movie?

  • @doctorjade8th Yet had more adventures outside the TV movie

  • Anyone find it coincidental that smith was born in the Fifth Doctor's era, who was then the youngest Doctor?

  • Picture at 1:36 doesn't count. This was a publicity shot for the spin-off episode "THE FIVE DOCTORS" from 1983, by which time William Hartnell was well dead, so the actor playing him is a lookalike, and Tom Baker is actually a waxwork dummy! (It really is, look closely!)

  • @airmilefull I am sorry but I cannot understand your reasoning.

Only Tom Baker Dr4, played him with little previous acting record. William Hartnell Dr1, made about 70 films. All the others had long acting records before being the Doctor. Please explain....

I agree with you that Paul McGann Dr8, only made a short film. So, Peter Cushing is twice as qualified a Doctor because he made 2 cinema films.

Matt Smith Dr11, did a lot of TV and theatre acting before becoming Doctor. What are you making up?

  • @TheUncleBilly Oh God, I am so sorry. I KNOW who airmilefull is (sadly, as she's bonkers). Let me explain. 6 played someone else in the orginial show before getting the part of the Doctor.

8 was only in the film.

9 is the third actor to play 9, but the other two were either sketches or never made it somehow (i forget the circumstances, but I blieve it says this on IMDB)

i have NO idea what she means about 11 but she DID tell me once she thought he'd been the Doctor twice. (Told you she's mad)

  • @TheUncleBilly Ah but, in McGann's credit, his Doctor was a time lord and Cushing's 'Dr' was human. Plus his TARDIS interior was completely different and Cushing is counted by the BBC as unofficial anyway.

  • 11 is my doctor , The Doctor I fist got into. Im also very found of 4 as well though , very similar demeanor 4 and 11.

  • There have actually been 13 Doctors.

Everybody seems to forget Peter Cushing in the 2 movies.

Plus, Richard Hurndall who played the part of William Hartnell when he died.

  • 3:10 to the end,all eleven together was just awesome. Even though it was a cartoon picture, with the music was a fitting tribute. Good job,and Thank you!

  • I always think Sylvester Mcoy reminds me of Rowan Atkinson

  • No.1- The grumpy old man No.2- The mad man in a fur coat and a recorder No.3- The nice one No.4- The mad one with the jelly babies and the scarf (My favourite) No.5- The cricketier No.6- The one with no dress sence No.7- The umbrella holder No.8- The ginger one No.9- Big ears No.10- The Cool one No.11- The goofy one
  • @SuperWolsey to help your arguement about colin

to quote Eric from Tomb of the cybermen:

"i wish to speak to the controller"

  • Sounds like you combined both versions of Song of Freedom, and it sounds beautiful!

  • 5,9 and 10 for me anyday

  • Long live number six!

  • @olliestoes Thats a double usage for the prisoner and dr who!
