who gives fuck if your a Muslim, Christian, or a Jew or whatever, this song was about a person dealing with a face of a problem medically if you listen to the original interview of the lead singer of Everlast, he will tell you he had a heart problem and the doctors said he needed to work with changes in his lifestyle, and he was grateful to make them and do what he needed to improve his health, quit the BS about religion, we all have our own and respect it no matter what or who you believe.

About his addictions (The monster) and how a Muslim nurse (The angel) prayed for him with her hand on his head. Which began his journey to Islam. The lyrics also have a lot of in-direct Islamic references. Albeit the song touches in many level, not just spiritual.
