I really like this version. A lot. Drum majors might gotten a little carried...lol, I was like "Um...they do know that they are a football field, right?"

Horns were HOT!!! I think they were playing on marching French horns. The bass line was interesting but it fit. I wish I could've heard fatter notes from them.

Do you guys think that show style / HCBU bands should use marching French horns or mellophones?

I personally think its pathetic. MB is fun but this is stupid. no movements hardly any musicianship just a bunch of idiots playing a song and saying they are amazing ... My opinion and im entitled to it

I'm still amazed at how many people can't comment on the band at hand. Why is always necessary to compare yourself to another band? This arrangement is what it is. I'll leave you to determine that.

umm... The bass Sounds pretty good to me. Average Bass line nothing special, but it fits just fine. In my opinion. Just because it moves differently than the melody doesnt mean it doesnt fit. i do see where your coming from in CERTAIN Spots though

This is ok....but their gonna have to step that up if they plan to hang with their rival NSU at the battle of the bay. They need more difference in dynamics...if you know your loud isnt that loud than your piano should be that much softer to give more impact...but still a good job by HIU.

I like the sound the band put out for their size...only problem i've had with US (hampton) is that sometimes we play our slow arrangements WAAAAY to fast. We have too many counterparts that would be heard better if Davis and Holmes would slow them down a little. Even when we had smart some songs were too fast...still good job though..cant wait to see yall in Nov...:)
