Davy is a great talent: great voice, playing, and sweet guitar tone. I'm glad he got away from the strats and went with the PRS guitars, too. The fatter, warmer tone suits his style perfectly.

Yeah but the other band was grittier... they were real. They weren't a few musicians put together engineered to produce the best product. That isn't music, thats business. Honestly I don't know how davy found the other two guys, but it would be better if he went out and found them himself... but I'm guessing his studio rounded them up for him. I think that SRD and AJ were the ones who decided to leave though... Davy didn't tell them to. Not sure though haha.. anyway they still rock!

Davy's last band of Ross and Adam were his old school friends he played with, but when he had Peter Frampton produce his new album, Frampton chose the band, because the old band was almost "holding him back" from expanding his musical career. Hope that helps

Saw them two tears ago opening for Gov't Mule. Warren invited Davy back to close both sets! Then I saw them in St. Louis at Beale on Broadway. Only twenty people there on a week night. Got to talk to them for a while. They tore Knuckleheads up in KC. They are a MUST SEE in Indy Nov. 20th at Birdy's.

Agree with you guys. I was also at the Detroit show. Davy made my jaw drop after that first song. Can't wait to see what this guy does for blues music in the future. I'd love to turn on the radio and hear him instead of Green Day.

I think this guy is great. Saw him live at the Chickenfoot concert in Detroit at the Filmore. They opened for them. One of the few new bands that have a lot of talent. I think he is definately one of the best up and coming blues guitarists.
