  • Sorry David Cameron I realise that you are only one person and to expect you to commit political suicide over an issue such as this would not help, we need an independent investigation into this, that is not being lead by woman's advocates or feminist NGO's. There is plenty of new evidence to show what has been happening. At the moment only civil servants and members of front line services have had empowerment and they have been the ones who are already biased and instead of finding solutions h

  • David Cameron halt the abuse system separating families and tackle all forms of cultural Marxism in politics that operate by a divide and rule policy as the socialist made over the previous years, allow us to become a society that is elgatarian and respectful to heal the divisions that have been created. That is more important than the euro or the price of gold. True civilisation can only be regarded by its merits and human qualities anyway..

  • Radical feminist ideology, I.e. the politics of totalisum is one of the genuine terrorisists we face in the real world. Going on a Duluth courses can be viewed as just that. If you had a programme that taught that's women should swallow misogynist ideas untill the individual can be considered fit parents to women who had slapped their husbands, the deluth model would then be seen for what it, is distasteful sexism and open to abusive.

  • Ok so why could she not have got a group of men together also to ask of there experiences too and find a solution so that men would not have to live in fear of isolation and emotional abuse too, in some cases violence too? It would have been great if this woman could have understood that gender differences are not a threat, they should be understood? Since she was probably a lesbian anyway so I guess that she would not have been concerned about the damage caused by trying to brain wash men. I g

  • Rest in peace, Ellen Pence. xoxo

  • I will miss you, Ellen! Thank you; thank you.

  • R.I.P. Ellen. A great human being.

  • Been there...help the men and women in this world!!

  • Great exposition that references and reflects the actual experience of women being abused. Survey style research is important, but clearly, listening qualitatively to women describing what it feels like to live with abuse yields the most important tools to help them make effective decisions and heal afterwards.

  • The intent of this video is to talk about the abuse of WOMEN by MEN, which is the dominant form of violence women experience. Why would she talk about other forms of abuse when that is not what the video is about? If you think every video about domestic violence needs to talk about women's abuse of men (the minority of violence that men experience), then you are saying that women don't deserve to talk about the abuse they experience on their own terms. That also means you are the problem.

  • So much respect your way Ellen! Yes, previous comments listed are perfect examples of entitlement and could be useful in future trainings...except they really are not all that creative.

  • The men's comments to this video are great examples of how entitled they feel to shape the conversation. Ellen Pence clearly discusses the origins of the power and control wheel in the experiences of women with abusers. She does not advocate such power tactics by women. Thanks, guys, for modeling abusive behavior!

  • I like how she admits clearly that she only ever talks to women. I wonder if she recognizes that shes working from a doctrinal point of view, or if shes totally blind to her own bias.

  • She does not ever say that she only ever talks to women. She says that the items in her wheel come from talking to women. She works with batterers, and you cannot be effective in that work unless you are able to listen to and respect men.

  • Oh, I think I understand the issues here much better now that I watched this. Women are entitled to control, manipulate, hit, issolate and abuse men. It really is about entitlement then isn't it. That's why women can abuse more than men do and it doesn't matter - ENTITLEMENT!. Thanks for clearing it up.

  • Actually sounds like more women I know than men. But it's OK for women to do this? Sounds like slaves and masters - teach blaks only to respect whites?

  • Please note that it is great that you present this to the rest of us. The information is priceless and eye opening. THANK YOU!
