As I said in my previous comments, I can appreciate any kind of music as far as it awakes some emotions in me. And if doesn't, at least to have a message/lyrical base/knowledge. It doesn't actually matter how boring it sounds or/and shitty.

I listened to 2-3 songs of Gallhammer and I couldn't grasp any substance whatsoever. Just a juvenile dose of frustration and lots of random sounds in the music.

I don't enclose my mind with one genre only. In order to comment on BM I have to understand it. I have tried almost all forms of black metal, from the raw Arcturus, Darkthrone, Sturm und Kaizer, Csjethe, Ad Hominem and Ossadogva to the DSBM sound of Neige's side projects (Peste Noire, Mortifera) along other DSBM bands like Luror, Coldworld, Gris and Dernier Martyr.

But I find myself attracted to the shoegaze part of BM such as Alcest, Les Discrets, Lantlos, Abesse, Amesoeurs. You get the point.

As I said, I understand and enjoy almost any kind of music and I can easily tell that bands I enjoy use almost the same riff/rondo allover the song. But, as far his music and/or harmony touches me, I like his work.

So far, few bands actually got to me. From the "REAL" BM bands (though I don't really know what's real and what's not) none touched me. That's why I said that I prefer the shoegaze/ambiental/DS
