Man i remember living in Brishane back in 99 when WIld FM (the radio station) was peeking, i listened on my sony walkman (lol at walkman) on the way to work, at smokos, lunch, on the way home from work, cooking tea, at bed time. And the weekends were spent at Techno Mad in fortitude Valley + others.. best era ever, i still have all Wild FM CDs and now they are on my Sony 16gb MP3 player + USB head unit in my WRX STI.. I soo miss those days :(

Australia has always loved it's harder dance music... Alex K was so ahead of his time doing these 'megamixes' on the computer... Everyone went spastic over Ableton Live but there was software out there prior that was just as capable - I think this one was done in SF Acid but don't quote me... Could have also been turntables and then some sample chopping afterward...
