Sound? Apart from "Rain", "Paperback Writer" and some of the harder songs I don't see much sound similarity between them. Oasis are much closer to a harder sound like Cream (that's the one with Eric Clapton incase you're still confusing different bands) or the Yardbirds.
Maybe you should listen to the Beatles "bud"?

The feud between them goes back to when Peter was hosting the NME awards, and Liam refused to come on stage and collect his award from Kay, and instead told him to bring the award down to his table, disrespectful tbh.

Disagree. Liam Gallagher is the best living person in the world. He's talented, funny, honest, admirably controversial, and original - unlike most people, he actually dares to be himself. Definitely one of the most iconic musicians of the 90s, being in one of the most deservedly iconic bands of that decade I sorely miss. In contrast, Peter Kay is the real knobhead.
