  • Shocking,biting Humbuckers,with distortion,ruin this great Classic.

    Same for,say,the intro of Sweet Jane on R & R Animal- Wagner/Hunter.

  • oddly enough i like this version better, possibly because i havnt heard it as many times

  • the studio version of this song is acoustic feces

  • FAR FAR superior to the live version In fact, there is not one single dud on this entire album.

  • I may only be 14 but this is way better than what most NOT all kids listen to at my school.

  • After listening to this now I know why they only play the Live version on the radio

  • @LukeSpencerGH i agree. I"m a big frampton fan but this version is a bit "Off". The guitar sounds like a chain saw on this....Not to take anything away from peter...it's just that i don't like the sound on this version...the same for the studio version of "Something's happening"...

  • @alsaxe1 Yeah i'm not saying it's the worst thing i've heard or that I hate this, just saying I can see why the live version is the more populer one. This one is a bit too slow for me and just doesn't seem to have the energy that the live version does. However it could just be that It's because I heard the live version first and that's the one i'm used too...

  • @LukeSpencerGH it is too slow..lol...as are alot of the early post pie albums by peter...try to find the studio of something's happenin...u should see the same...pete is an awesome guitarist though...i love his work w/ the pie and his solo stuff..i hated the follow up to the live album though...

  • @LukeSpencerGH I AGREE. DON;T HATE IT JUST GLAD TO KNOW THERE IS A STUDIO VERSION. FRAMPTOM COMES ALIVE WILL ALWAYS BE MY FAVORITE WITH THE VERSON ON VH1 CLASSIC'S HEADLINER'S A CLOSE SECOND. I WISH I COULD FIND THAT ONE

  • First thing in the a.m.; thesun is bursting through the sky with brilliant shades of orange, purples, pinks, & grays; hitting the clouds and bursting the light and color right through them...I hope you feel like I do....Thanks Peter Frampton.

  • been to college parties and this song was a total hit for the night hell ya

  • 1 person doesnt feel like we do... :'(

  • Who the hell was the one who decided to dislike this. Oh yeah Justin Bieber. Hate that little kid

  • Wow, this is so strange to hear. I was almost certain that a studio version of this song didn't exist!

  • @bvansenu I LOOKED FOR YEARS UNSUCESSFULLY

  • Been a fan of Peter Frampton since "Humble Pie" days. One of the most underrated guitarists ever. He has so much more to give than "Frampton Comes Alive". It's a shame that so many people don't realize that. FRAMPTON FOREVER!

  • @Pompazoidee1 Frampton underrated guitarist? i don't think so!

  • No contest this is what i,veen looking for so many years and places and here it is, the studio version, not to many people knows about this master audio, shame on this guys, 'this is the original' you ingnoramasss!...

  • thanks for posting....this is great....you people if you do not like something get the hell out.....do you live in your mothers basement? still having trouble with acne? try accutane it will clear thing up for you!!!!

  • I'm almost 51 yrs. old & had never heard the studio version of this one. Great!

  • @Mitsy1212 YEAH HOW CAN WE LOVE A SONG FOR 35 YEARS AND NEVER HEAR A STUDIO VERSION?

  • damn this is good with a stiff drink

  • noo voice box in this version! :/ lol so i think the other version is better! :)

  • @bigmike50 no "Bob Mayo on keyboards, Bob Mayo" either... song's just not the same without :)

  • Chloe Grace Moretz, Dakota Fanning, (ok, w/kristen stewart tagging along like the tail of a comet), doing a cover of 'Shine On' by Humble Pie. Ok, we'll even throw in a guest lead guitarist stint by Lita Ford, what the hell, call it a reunion. There IS still room for the -definitive - girl's rock group. Oh, so you don't agree, wudda you some kinda chauvinist or sompin? The things we do for love.

  • Far superior to that pompous concert version blown all out of proportion (and tune) by radio and certainly more restraint is needed o n that voice synthesizer.

  • @JonBenet6 u need to get your ears checked...lol..the live version is incredible..the band was tight and peter was on top of his game...this version sounds dated...

  • Wow! 1 person does not feel like they do

  • Bent the boot...hit the bag....

  • this is the real mccoy..The 1st is always the best

  • camel was also a prog uk group ....still from 70's ,nothing to do with this?

  • Woke up this morning with a wine glass in my hand... and then started listening to this on vinyl.

  • I've always thought Frampton was made for the stage and his voice resonates much better live, but I gotta say, there's something appealing about this studio cut. Different from FCA or live (in concert), true but this version really showcases his amazing guitar skills without the distraction of the talk box. (don't get me wrong...I LOVE the energy from the talk box in the live version, this is just...different and great in it's own right)

  • wow... ill stick to seeing frampton in concert lol i really don't like this hahahaha

  • Champagne for breakfast .........Do U Feeeeeeeeelllllll Like I Do ?

  • very bland

  • Great musician, nuff said! :)

  • Just to clarify, I love the guy...hell, I saw him about 10 times during the Live days and onstage, noone could beat him. And as far as the collection of songs on Live, he managed to give them an energy that he was never able to duplicate in the studio, even in his first album after FCL...God, what a disaster. I bought it the day it came out and I'll never forget just how disappointed I was when I heard it. If only he'd managed to shine in studio like he did onstage....oh well.

  • None of the original versions can compare to the ones on the Live album cos in all honesty, Frampton had always been extremely weak when it came to his studio work. Needless to say it was really no surprise that his career tanked so badly after his followup to" FCL"...I'm in You was as lackluster and uninspired as the rest of his in studio material, so even if he'd never done that God awful movie w/ the BGs he still would've ended up in the same place. Live performer yes, studio no.

  • FINALLY A NON-LIVE VERSION :DDD!!!! The live versions are usually not as good in my opinion...

  • @LSA2013 The live version of this song is great and the one that is heard most of the time

  • there's nothing better then rock n roll

  • You can have lyrics in the song that are only slightly different from the title. There's no rule that says the title MUST reflect the lyrics within the song accurately. Artists write what they want and title what they want to, get over it and enjoy kickass rock n roll :-)

  • Love the early Frampton studio albums!

  • 1000 times better than the Live version

  • better grove than live, drums sound better more definded same drummer though, but miss the talkbox on comes alive.

  • Do you feel......Do....you.... Feel.....

  • this is the shit

  • ill be honest, but i think any live version of this song is better than this recording. any1 else agree with me? i mean its not that this is terrible its actually really good but i think that the live versions are better. it might be because all i hear on the radio is the frampton comes alive version. plus this is the first time ive heard this version.

  • This entire album is kick-ass R and Roll one!

  • There's a studio version?!

  • @Shredder5190 you mean tha'ts all you know, the live version is the one the program directors allowed you to hear!

  • I like this version better..Its tastier..

  • yes

  • first time i've heard the studio version of this track, now i'm on to Riding the Storm Out from R.E.O. sweet connie should be shot for what she said about Peter.....some things aren't for public consumption.

  • I remember everyone of the kids digging this song in 1976 when I was 16. It was the NEW HIT! I had heard it three years earlier on the radio early in the morn as I got ready to go to work at the cemetary. That DJ in that time slot played it a lot. I dug the song A LOT but could not find it on 45 in 1973. I DUG THAT SONG! How could have been missed by everyone else?! Just that DJ n me on the way to the graveyard shift us both.

  • j'adore cette musique

  • Epic

  • umm i thought it was do you feel like i do not we do

  • @318dodgeN350camaro who cares, it sounds epic

  • @318dodgeN350camaro actually its neither it "do you feel the way we do"

  • @318dodgeN350camaro thats exactly what i was thinking

  • @318dodgeN350camaro No, it is not.

  • This is a great example of the studio version being that much better than a balls-kicking live version.

  • peter frampton belongs in the hamptons, because hes just that awesome.

  • sad, lonely, talkbox in this version

  • I saw Frampton's Camel in Birmingham, AL. I wish I could remember the year, and who else was on the bill. Barnstorm may have been there.

  • it seems slowed down a bit

  • @SuperThunderx its usualy sped up live

  • @Shredder5190 I didn't, but I'm finding out from this. The version from Frampton Comes Alive is much better.

  • Hah. To me this is the definitive version. The triplet run at the end is classic only if you can get away with it with class like PF does, otherwise sounds like crap if most guitarists try it. He's all frets its sooooooo effin cool :D What a blast!!!!!!!

  • So...no talk box?

  • hey

    Go on to 107. 1 Jack F.M.

    Badass

  • great tune...Frampton's anthem

  • Is it just me, or is there no talkbox in this version?

  • So much better live, but the studio version ain't that bad either.

  • not as good as live <3

  • -sighs- Nothing like some classic rock! Put this guy on the radio! All I hear is hip hop now-a-days and I can't stand it! It's hard to find decent music like this on the radio!

  • @Berrypool001 Try 103.7 "The Band" they play legendary rock classics all the time.

  • @Berrypool001 i recommend trying the classic rock radio station, there is one in every city. radio stations have a format, so when you hear hip hop and top 40 on a station, its safe to say you wont hear classic rock

  • @Berrypool001

Rap and hip hop now-a-days are CRAP

  • @Berrypool001 - So turn to a classic rock station stop listening to the hip hop stations, moron.

  • @Berrypool001 listen to 96.5 the drive its classic rock... i listen to it

  • @Berrypool001 turn to 107.7 KRXO in oklahoma lol

  • @Berrypool001 Do you live in the US? There's a classic rock station in every major market in this country.

  • @xpansion2012 There is. Might move to the US then because there's barely any British ones :(

  • @MrMatdalegend If you listen to the radio at home most of US radio stations stream their programming online as well. Also if you live in or about Manchester there's 106.1FM :)

  • @xpansion2012 Thanks. I usually listen to Kerrang anyway, but not sure if that's British or American

  • @MrMatdalegend I hadn't heard of Kerrang. Thanks for the heads up!

  • @Berrypool001 lol how about stop tuning into the hip hop stations?

  • @Berrypool001 if you live in the bay area theres 3 that I listen too

  • ha i want him to ask me lol i mean like i hate rejection...

  • You won't make it too far in the job world with that attitude.... :P

  • @Robby771 well true but still idk if he even likes me ha i am a chicken ok

  • but like we r kinda good friends and like i dont want our friendship to go BLA u know it would be akward

  • Lmao, just ask him, it won't be awkward unless you or him make it awkward.

  • well that goes without saying but what i meant is that frampton kicks ass no matter is its the studio or live

  • do u think if a guy you like dedicates this song to u, do u think he likes me?

  • If a guy says the song "Do You Feel Like We Do" is dedicated to you, what do you think?

  • @Robby771 i think he likes me its just he wont talk to me! its been 1 one week i think but i mean..so u think he does like me?

  • Ask him out take a chance!

  • frampton is the best, no matter if it's the original or live version of his songs

  • my oncle told me about this song and its fucking amazinggggg i like this kind of music !! IF someone has a good song like this to show me please go on, fucken classic shit.

  • Wow. Pretty slow, but really good.

  • Would love to hear the other tracks on this album. If somebody has them post them PLEEEEASE.
