  • holy shat....he plays the chords so freaking fast. THAT WAS AMAZING O:

  • This is actually a little faster than in the movie and it kind of lessen the feelings!!!

  • Como no ser romántico con el Jazz, con París...

  • lol 1 dislike

  • This tune sounds so much better when it's performed live. This is a great footage with a great sound fidelity. Thank you for uploading!

Can't wait to hear him perform live someday.

  • what's the cola can for???

  • Absolutely beautiful. I can't stop watching it.

  • and THAT, is how babies are made.

  • fucking awesome. my head just exploded.

  • awesome song, but why does that guy have a soda can on his shoe?

  • @testfriend666 My guess is that it has a marble or coins or something in it that would rattle around when he taps his foot.

  • @testfriend666 David holds in his hand and rocks it in rythmn to the song. I don't know what he has inside it that gives off sound. Neat guy though, and very talented.

  • Justin Bieber disliked this because he is jealous because these guys got REAL talent.

  • I just watched the movie and heard Bistro Fada for the first time. The movie would not quite be the same without the song. They compliment each other. Kudos Stephane

  • i winder who he is (the guy who DISLIKED)

  • LIKE A BOSS!!!

  • Great song

  • I felt like Gil Pender for a couple minutes strolling through Paris......

  • Simply amazing! I love this and Midnight in Paris

  • The point of music is that there's an infinite number of ways to arrange all the pitches and rhythms, yet here we are presented with possibly the best way of doing so

  • Dedicated to everybody to start cheerfully your day..the waltz frm "Midnight in Paris"

    Formidabile..Stunning

  • What a beautiful piece of music! I whole-heartedly concur with truhbob's comment below!

  • The person who disliked should look at the dislike bar and then at their penis.

    See the similarity?

  • @Zarooga Hey man, you're looking ridiculous. History tells about people intolerant to different opinions who were concerned with penis size like you are..

  • @Virghin calm ur tits bra

  • I loved the gypsy swing theme for the film Midnight in Paris. I want this kind of music to flood America. We desperately need a dance break from the horrors of hip-hop..

  • Does anybody else notice the coca cola can tied to the shoe of the man with the straw hat? anyway, great video, i love this song!

  • trying to learn the song.. I've got the first 5 seconds of the song in 2 hours.. ¬¬ He makes it look so easy

  • what kind of guitar is that?

  • @Johnrupsch609 Gitane DG-340 Modele Stephane Wrembel Gypsy Jazz Guitar. Goes for about $1200.

  • Trop beau!:)

  • this song is perfection.

  • The best thing about this song is the man with a coke can tied to his shoe. I wish I understood what it meant.

  • @FlippinFlaves The coke can has loose objects inside ( coins, BB's etc). The hole is taped up and when he taps his foots it becomes a shaker. He doesn't play percussion on this song, however. Guitar players do this sometimes due to both hands are in use and since you are already tapping your foot, why not add a shaker to it.

  • sounds like "montaigne st. genevieve" by django reinhardt

  • @aleantonel Is there any where that he gave credit to this as inspiration? I feel like he totally ripped it off, and everyone is looking for this song and not realizing the true artist behind it.

  • @aleantonel

yes. very astute. it's basically the same chord progression, same rhythm, tempo, and scales. Django wrote & recorded montaigne st. genevieve like 60 years ago. and we know Wrembel learned that tune cos we can see him playing it here:

    watch?v=lhA_jKBpkZU

  • Best thing of Midnight in Paris!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @NowArise The soundtrack is amazing. Makes the movie.

  • Ohh itis fantastic!!!

  • Genius.....

  • just brilliant

  • I thought his song was called "Djangos waltz'?

  • i love this tune and the film as well

  • what does bistro fada mean?

  • @EagleGhazal Bistro Fada translates to Lunatic Café.

  • @ascott51088 - that coke can, rubber-banded to David Langlois's foot, is filled with "rattle sand" like a giant shaker egg. On his lap is a board with an odd collection of pots, pans and magical percussive items, from which his fingertips (both bare and adorned) extract such rhythms and emotions that people are nearly driven sane as they become entranced. (He's not playing them on Bistor Fada, but did he awe the audience at DFNW.)

  • Stephane and the guys played this at DFNW, and as awesome as it is, they ended their show on even higher ground - the audience was literally lifted from their seats by the music. If you ever get a chance to hear Stephane and his band play live, don't pass it by. I hear he plays regularly in NYC - check the listings.

  • merveilleux!

  • awesome. great music to go along with a great movie.

I did notice a coke can attached to that man's shoe in the video. wonder what that's all about

  • Good god. The man makes it look effortless!

  • @2:10 - Why is there a coca cola can attached to that guys shoe? lol

  • I NEED to have an album of Stephane Wrembel, but it has to be one that has this piece. Anybody know where to get it?!

  • Can anyone tell me what guitar Wrembel plays on this one?

  • fuckin' hell

  • Fantastico. Una autentica maravilla.

  • beautiful music, such clarity in his phrasing.

  • i think it's phisically impossible to move the hands like that... what are you?

  • Wonderfull and Good Job!!! Congratulations!!!

  • Tabs, notes, whatever, but I'll be greatfull! :D

  • I fell in love with this song

  • I estimate this is the 345th I have watched this in 24 hours. And Im not satisfied yet. I can watch it a lot more times. How about the expresion of Stephane when he finishes? Its like he was playing the easiest song, like its nothing compared to what he can do.

  • @jansport0409 well my friend, if you practiced this song 345 times in a row in a day, you would be good at it too (which I did, since my new GF loved the song and wanted me to hear me play it on my accordion ;))

  • @emremokoko mine should 2 xDD ill try to convince him.

  • @emremokoko I really look forward to your version of the song. Now that you mentioned it, it truly has an accordeon mood Im sure it would sound lovely. I gotta be honest after 2 months Im starting to be satisfied. Im only watching the video 6 times a day.

  • @jansport0409 this song is in the genre of "gypsy jazz", and if you like this song so much, there are others similar to this one. Try listening to "la valse des niglos" or "valse a bamboula" on youtube. You will probably like them too.

  • Love it. Just want to play it now. Good finger exercise

  • @manucreole let me know if you find the tab to this anywhere please ! i feel like i have looked everywhere and i cant find it but i'm so in love with this song.. :3

  • Que maravilla!

  • Cuando la escuché por primera vez, durante la película Midnight in Paris, quise escucharla varias veces, me encantó encontrarla, es hermosa.
