I gotta go with Marc, I agree that it was really sick that Matt could keep the nunchaku moving while tricking but it seems like he gets a bit too showy in his actions, almost like he's dancing. I think Marc had him beat as far as style goes.

@five40kix Chux are easy and simple to use when you flow with them, Try doing that with Kama's. Marc Canonizado beats him hands down.

i think that matt won, overall chucks are harder to control than kamas. And matt swung the weapon while he flipped. However marc is still badass, Finger rolls with Kamas are very hard. It was close, but i gotta go with matt.

matt easy, both are insane, but matt continuously used his chucks in addition to insane tricks, it was a weapons form and i felt the difficultly with the weapons went Matt's way easily.

I think Matt's form was good, it was very dynamic but you can't appreciate well the technique. Also I noticed like a loss of balance or something. On the other side, Marc's was more clean doing very difficult moves and still keeping good balance, skill and stamina. My opinion: MARC WON.

ryckio...i chuk and i did the kamas in the past...matts forms are so much more advance than 99.9% of what you see anywhere and this kid does it all to the extreme...there are mistakes in every routine but you have to look at how much harder it is to chuk than to hold kamas and flip around

I've done both weapons too. And I'm not taking anything from Matt. If you read my comment I'm giving my opinion as a judge. That's the object of this posted vid (see vid description) Regardless how advanced and how difficult Matt's form is I saw some flaws that were notable in this case (I've seen him performing lot of times) and that's what is my comment about. Comparing both performances, MARC WON.

hmm my opinion is that both of them have a lot of style and angry moves. Definetly Matt have more furious, dificulty and faster form, but he lost his balance an got some over-hasty moves. I think Marc won, because he have better technique, balance and more skilful form.

Canonizado took it by a wide margin. That's not to say that Matt Emig isn't good and didn't put on a stunning performance, but Marc Canonizado's was by far the better one.

I definately thought Matt was beter than Marc in that one. Matt has more flexibility with chuck moves then Marc has w/ kamas. I dont know if it was just me, but it looked like Matt missed his chuck at 28-29 secs. But no matter what, he covered it up well.

I honestly feel that the second kata is the winner because his kata was solid and perfect, while the first lost his balance. Besides the seond kata had more styles then the first. I can't hear so I wasn't sure which one is Matt or Mark but ya know what I mean....

Matt Emig won.. No doubt. Both formers were great and I give much respect to it, but I think Matt's moves looked more difficult to pull out with his chux techniques and the tricking techniques. Marc did well, but I just don't think it was as clean and as polished as Matt's. Either way, both are excellent martial artists!

In my opinion Emig hands down. Matt is a lot faster and his form is just a lot more tech and creative than Marcs. Marcs form isn't bad but isn't his best. Watching Marc it looks like someone put it on like slow mo almost it's just not fast at all. He does the same tricks. So Emig won in my opinion

They're both insanely close but if you notice, the creativity of the footwork and chucks work that matt used, i think, out did marc's kama work ten fold. Then you add the tricks. Marc rpeated the same move twice. To his knees twice. Shoulda landed the webster on his feet at least once. Also C9 hook raiz gainer isn't as difficult as people think. though matt never threw in ay really good kicks, I believe matttook this one hands down.

Marc didn't stumble. I saw a stumble in Matt's form but it was so small lol I think if that wasn't there I would have givin it to matt his form seemed more technical

If i was judging it that would be a hard decision but i would say Emig just because of the weapon usage that he used compared to marc. But both guys performed very well best i've seen yet

at 0:55 to 0:56. It is a very very tiny stumble, which just goes to show how hard you have to look to actually witness Matt do even the tiniest of stumbles. Even then, that is the 1st time i've ever seen him do even the tiniest of stumbles in competition.
