@redscarf11 I don't know about where this guy is, but certain parts of california it is illegal to use a cast net to catch bait fish. Here in southern california this is the most common way we catch our own bait

why not just chum em up and throw a 10-12' net on em :)

i catch them the same way but alot time i do it with out a rod i just tie it to a roll of line and when i catch one i rig it up right under the fin
