  • Argument 5: The bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ is so verifiable historically that it passes any reasonable test for history or ancient literature. It can be accepted as not only reasonable, but a true historical event.[10]

  • The existence of moral absolutes (such as justice, truth, good, etc.) can only be explained by an infinite Moral Lawgiver, or God. Pastor Knechtle argued that ethics are not merely a matter of convention, agreement, intuition, or genetic programming, but instead reveal the existence of a Moral Lawgiver whose ethical nature provides an adequate foundation for moral absolutes in human society. Such absolute ethics are not dependent on human thought or conscience, but on the Moral Lawgiver

  • Argument 2: The intricacy and complexity of the universe on both a macro and a micro level indicates an Intelligent Designer. Pastor Knechtle pointed out that if oxygen levels on earth were higher or lower, animal, human, and plant life couldn't exist. If the earth were closer to the sun it would be too hot to support life; if it were farther away it would be too cold... displayed intelligent design that could only come from an Intelligent Designer

  • DEBATE 2003: "Argument 1: The origin of the universe demands an uncaused, timeless, very, very powerful Source that we call the Christian God. He proposed three alternatives to explain the existence of the universe: (1) Something came from nothing; (2) The universe itself is eternal; or (3) The universe was created by something (or someone) eternal. Pastor Knechtle argued that whatever begins to be has a cause; the universe began to be; therefore, the universe had a cause."

  • Think about it...why do good in life? Why not take what you want, from whom you want, when you want?! Why? Because that innate goodness is God-given, so no matter what "religion" (man-made or otherwise) one chooses to follow; is less important than knowing that someone/something bigger, greater than ourselves made us

  • Much of what you say is based upon "religion" as opposed to the fundamentalist behaviour of a minority. In this way, can I ask you, if you do not believe in a "God", or a greater power per-say; what stops you from taking another's property when you want it? Or why don't you kill someone when they piss you off? In other words, if your inate goodness doesn't come from a God of sorts (God is goodness); then isn't your decision-making in following life's rules simply arbitrary?

  • Btw scientist found out that the parting of the red sea actually happened but their excuse is that a rare gust of wind came flowing through earth causing the sea to part. The reason they know it really happened is because Moses wouldn't have been able to get around or over the red sea as fast as he did unless it happened like in the bible. s that not enough evidence that god is real?

  • I wish that atleast one athiest had a good reason not to believe like proving the bible wrong. But thats the thing, they can't. The only thing they can say is this stuff didn't happen or it isn't real like the parting of the red sea. None of them can actually find evidence its all nonsence that the devil started on earth trying to get people not to believe in god because he knew how much it would hurt god and he succeeded.

  • @tehnoobwillmon well said! I think that Athiests will find, if they truly look within, that they follow God-given and God-instilled values in life - otherwise, every kind action and loving action is simply arbitrary. Where does that goodness come from?

  • Why do so many people not believe in God? What do they believe? That we evolved on this earth just to die and keep the cycle going? its rediculious and doesn't make since. The only thing that would make since is that the reason EVERY word of the bible is true and EVERY event it explains is happening or happened then GOD IS REAL what evidence do we not have? its everywhere! saying gods not real is like saying that we dont have personalities and we just live top reproduce and die.

  • In the bible it says that God created animals for earth and told them to be fruitful and reproduce and thats all they do yet humans created technologies ways for communication with others and much more. Everything in the bible is true. Jesus was the biggest influence on earth and when all of the evidence is here people still make excuses not to believe. It says it all in the bible.

  • The devil targets not believers and tries to stir the pot by making christians nonbelievers too. Its as simple as that or they wouldn't have a problem with other peoples religion its just the devils work. The devil is much more powerful then us but with god we can rise above him. Animals are completely different then us, their purpose is to keep the cycle of life on earth going while we are right in the middle. Thats their only purpose on earth but man's purpose is much bigger.

  • You should not have even bothered answering rockmaneleveneleven's question because it is a loaded question. Though he/she will refuse to admit it, he/she did not want an answer. The person wanted an argument or to claim that any gap in knowledge is evidence for God. Why is God of the Gaps the favorite arguing point of these ignorant fools? A gap in your knowledge or humanity's knowledge is not evidence for God nor will it ever be, no matter how many times you assert it.

  • @DeathUnshrouded WHOM are you so damn angry at? Who made you dude? You can go back as far as you like to BIG BANG theories, Apes etc...but the same fact remains, and that is, that an intelligent being made absolutely everything. If u cannot see the intricacies that God had in mind in both the Micro and Macro Eco systems...I feel sorry for you, ur missing out on the most amazing properties. The more you name-call believers, the more it appears u need 2believe in something/som1 greater than urself

  • @marminxy "WHOM are you so damn angry at?"

Hmm, perhaps "rockmaneleveneleven". Perhaps because that is the person I mentioned in my comment. Perhaps you should try this wonderful exercise called "reading". Also, your hilarious and vacuous straw man argument doesn't even deserve a response. Exactly what "theory" am I propping up by saying God of the Gaps is a logical fallacy? I feel sorry for you because you think you actually made a proper argument.

  • @marminxy "Who made you dude?"

That would be mama and papa. If you want to get into the specifics I suggest you study human reproduction. It may reduce the number of platitudes you utter as well, which would help all parties involved.

"but the same fact remains, and that is, that an intelligent being made absolutely everything."

Absolutely vacuous, you have nothing to support this grand claim.

  • @DeathUnshrouded you do love the word "Vacuous" don't you - you seem to have used it religiously (pardon the pun)

  • @marminxy "If u cannot see the intricacies that God had in mind in both the Micro and Macro Eco systems...I feel sorry for you, ur missing out on the most amazing properties."

Oh the old fashioned argument from design. Got to love it, the only "evidence" for the ridiculous assertion is that things "appeared to be designed", that's some science! I feel sorry for you if you think that holds any water. I name call people who make logical fallacies, believer or none-believer.

  • You can say though that with Mars Hill and Soul Survivor that I've been to, it's doing far more good than any secular systhem would ever do, especially in the social formats present. Some of the good things done are even frowned upon by atheism. And I'm not reffering to comforting belief in God or efforts towards medical care by christians that you have been exposed to by others. I'm talking about Kurt Cobains questions being answered for some. Real stuff of real relevance of that sort.

  • and then kick back in their billion dollar summer homes laughing at you... sadly, my friend, you are believing in what you've been conditioned to believe... get away from television, mainstream media, etc. and go on a serious quest for truth. have you looked up lately? seen the sky? have you wondered why our government is spraying aluminium and barium in the air?

  • @thedevilneversleeps have you questioned the reasoning behind why most affordable food is like poison to your body? have you ever asked yourself why vaccines contain mercury and are designed to sterilize the populus? look into it, my friend... you'll find truth, if you really desire truth.

  • @thedevilneversleeps Congratulations, if you aren't a troll you are a more then apparent fool. Go tout your baseless conspiracy theories to some ignorant fool, like you, who will believe them. The fact that nothing can be proved indefinitely is not a reason to shackle your mind to moronic conspiracy theories with no evidentiary support.. We can't "disprove" your idiotic conspiracy theories because nothing can be "disproven", that doesn't make your idiotic ramblings "true" or more likely.

  • @DeathUnshrouded and YOUR idiotic theories are more believable why?

  • so, i guess you honestly believe that 911 was done by a muslim in a cave? really? it's really ridiculous to suggest that belief in a higher power is responsible for the murderous, evil people that create wars, fund both sides, and then point the finger at whoever...(so called extremists)...

  • Dude, this is hilarious. I like the Santa in schools analogy.

  • I am fighting for the souls of Atheists and I want them to rejoin the communities of Christ.

  • I have a REAL GOOD idea for YOU IN PARTICULAR

But first I must Know: Do You SEEK THE TRUTH? Wherever it Leads? - Or do you just like to SEEN intelligent? - Like a small fish in a very tiny pond.

But if IT IS REALLY TRUTH that You Seek - And Not Just rhetoric..

How about you Debate/Discuss The Whole GOD QUESTION with Someone Who Studies/ Teaches this for a Living? Got it! - A Catholic Priest?

If You're Truly Up For It - Let's Do It!!

Write me OFF-Board and we'll set up the details

  • Pure propaganda. This guys needs a job a hobby or something. Why would I listen to you when there's guys like Michael Savage Alex Jones and brilliant scholars who write books which are a lot more credible and a lot more intelligent and actually know what they are talking about. If you want to go some where with it start your own radio show or something then you would impress people. Have a debatable discussion with others you're basically talking to yourself. You're smarter than that.

  • I believe in nothing....

  • hahahaha i just waned to check the video and he erased it LOL!!!!!!

  • the 19 down votes are probably from religious people.LMAO!

you are cool man, keep it up!

  • i dont know why people deny santa....he existed, he was st. nicholas. hes not alive but unlike god you can easily prove st.nicholas did exist.

  • intellectual suicide intertwined with pride this guy here!!!

if we live life like there is not God we better be right...

    love love love

  • Dude I totally agree, I am the same way. I am constantly thinking about this stuff. I really think that it is so much more important than any other subject. So many people are afraid to talk about it because of its implications. We would rather talk about who won the World Series or who our favorite singer is on American Idol (and there is nothing wrong with that), but there is no profit or gain there. The truth will ultimately set us free, if we humbly and earnestly seek it.

  • increase in cancer and deformities in Iraqi children.**

  • Hey man, I'm agnostic, and seeing as you said you criticizes religion and belief because it causes death in the name of god, why don’t you criticize the military industrial complex in America that has killed more than half a million Arabs in Iraq, or the fact that american soilders use D.U. in munitions that has caused 25% increase in iraqi children. I like that you speak with reason though, as most atheists do, but im confused as to why you are so certian about your conclusions.

  • @Discogranny666 Your point is valid, but some people just focus on different issues. People donate to different cancer researches or charities hoping to help the world as a whole, piece by piece. There are people focusing on American military. Also, it is a lot harder to say anything against what America does because generally they lie by saying it's self defense. Religion does not have the self-defense excuse, valid or otherwise.

  • Comment removed

  • @eldorado61guy Because "there is a god" is a claim. Claims require supporting evidence to be accepted. "There is not a god" is not a claim, it is a rejection of your claim that there is a god, because we see no evidence for it. In other words, if you are going to assert the existence of something (god) which cannot be seen, you have to offer some kind of proof. If you do not offer that proof, I can reject your claim. I do not have to offer "proof" for my rejection of your unproven claim.

  • I like having sex with people of the opposite gender and I would rather not have sex with people of my own gender but don't label me a heterosexual! I am just a person!

  • If labelling ourselves as atheists makes atheism a religion, then people labelling themselves as musicians makes music a religion.

  • 'Why do you spend so much time criticising religion'?

This seems to me just another argument they make when their real arguments don't hold up. It's in the same category 'Oh I used to be an atheist too' or 'All positions are faith positions, therefore my belief is just as valid as yours'.

  • Here is my religion-I just dont give a shit =D

  • I believe that we should all try to enjoy this life as it comes. Use our brains, and when disaster comes comfort each other and try to logically solve our problems. Yes, that extra power, that push to continue forwards comes from within. Relgion was originally art, and people believe it because there was nothing else to believe. But then it was abused and people used it for power, and killed, and bigotry. People just enjoy life, no matter what!

  • The classic Christian idea that animals are just automatons that just appear to experience emotions like pain, joy, fear, etc. is about as logical as the idea that a deity filled this universe with so much evidence to deny his existence, just to screw with us. I don't understand what fundies find so horrifying about the idea that we evolved--it's much more interesting than any bible story, and it doesn't change who we are.

Don't believe everything the preacher tells you.

  • Well, just watch Bible Wars. Then you get to stories in a case

  • You seem like a fairly intelligent guy, so would you do a segment that explains where the character qualities of love and compassion originate, since those two qualities are what separate most of mankind from animals and brute beasts which operate on pure instinct with no emotions what so ever. And will you elaborate how those two human qualities developed from the primal ooze.If you have thought this through you should have an answer. Thanks Bro

  • as we cannot know what animals actually think or feel, your claims about what animals think and feel are nothing more then assertions.

however, from what we can infer from studying animals, we have ample reason to infer, on the basis of their behavior, that they do in fact have feelings such as love, sympathy, compassion, etc.

  • If you arent willing to accept that studying the behavior of animals might be able to provide any light on the matter, then from where do you require an answer? He answered your question: Animals do exibit compassionate behavior that has little or nothing to do with food provision. Animals that live in social groups, such as humans, would benefit greatly by developing these traits. See also other primates, elephants, dolphins, etc.

  • first off, what do you think "love" and "compassion" are? if they are modes of thought an behavior, then I have a hard time seeing why you could not accept they they "developed from the primal ooze"

  • @rockmaneleveneleven Human love and compassion? You look at the world around you and you see people act more like territorial animals than compassionate beings. At what point in our evolutionary past did the hominid species become "human" enough to be judged? I assume you beleive in evolution?

  • @rockmaneleveneleven I think you are battling it out without knowledge about it... the claim that animals does not have emotion is just like me saying that you do not have emotions... it has no basis... animals feel emotions if you just study more on this... actually elephants mourn.. you can type it up if you want., you may even email nat geo if you feel like doing it.. haha ^_^.

  • @rockmaneleveneleven Also, it is very hard to give a substantial rebuttal with only 500 characters.

  • @rockmaneleveneleven

He did adress your question, moron. Love and compassion are thought processes, as such all higher animals, not just humans have them. Cats dogs, horses, elephants, monkeys, apes (which include humans), and many others between the bird and mammal families show compassion toward their young as well as their own kind. Sometimes they'll show compassion toward us provided we respect them.

  • @rockmaneleveneleven There is at least as much evidence that nonhuman animals possess compassion and love as there is that human animals possess them.

  • @tooltime9901 We don't just know a about thought processes in terms of how emotions get brought into play and why in terms of situations anymore. We've also learned a good deal about the hardware aspect. Asking about essentially neuroscience on youtube probably isn't the best idea, but if you're not willing to do some research and just want someone to give you second hand information then I'll just say that they're pretty simple processes and they are also apparent in other animals.

  • @rockmaneleveneleven You should check out Jacob Bronowski. Ascent of Man, The Identity of Man, The Origin of Knowledge and Imagination. He's awesome on those subjects.

  • @rockmaneleveneleven lol elephants. they care for there(their?) dead and mourn them

  • @rockmaneleveneleven If you ever had a pet, I have no idea how you could ask such a thing. I am not the person you were looking to respond, but I just find it tragic how people can say that animals, which we are, only operate on instinct. You seriously undervalue the intelligence and comprehension of "animals". Although not up to our standards of intellect they exhibit many properties that could be attributed to a "soul". We are not so far removed from other animals as you might suggest.

  • @rockmaneleveneleven Oxytocin and Antidiuretic hormone introducing dopamine into the nervous system of a prairie vole. Check out oxytocin.org ;)

  • @rockmaneleveneleven I don't mean to sound insulting, but you are over-simplifying it. Love and compassion are not measurable, but what we see among animals and humans alike (particularly among mammals) is companionship (which ensures successful raising of young) as well as compassion (that video on YouTube of the dog pulling another dog out of the road). I find what is more interesting is to look at your house pets and be realistic about what they can and can't grasp. Time and speech for ex.

  • @rockmaneleveneleven

Your question is a false dichotomy.

Characteristics of empathy, sympathy, and compassion are shown in varying degrees throughout the tree of life.

Why? It is a complicated answer... but an answer that sociology, anthropology, neuroscience, and evolutionary biology has answered. Long-story short, altriusm is a misfiring of a Darwinian principle: that principle being to reward those of like-will who are generous.

  • @rockmaneleveneleven Why would you say other animals have no emotions? You should get a dog.

  • @rockmaneleveneleven Human compassion came from our need to survive as a community. Humans aren't naturally the most dominant species on the earth. We aren't the fasters or the strongest, but we are the smartest. and we KNOW there is strength in numbers. Helping each other comes from our want and need to keep our species alive. Morals derive from our social contracts we know not to kill because we wouldn't want to be killed, same with stealing and raping and all of that.

  • @Gwellsmusic see my previous notes on Atheist not understanding that their own innate goodness MUST come from God...otherwise, where does it come from, and, failing there being a "greater being" as the source of our morals... wouldn't "being good" simply be arbitrary; why don't you simply take what isn't yours? because that goodness was instilled into us by something or someone - it cannot exist on its own. Innate goodness in humans doesn't exist without a source, &it always goes back to a God

  • @marminxy so what you are saying is that you admit that you would rape and kill and steal if god hadn't told you you would be punished for it? YOU ARE AN IDIOT. We know how we want to be treated and we do that to others. If god instilled our virtues and righteousness then how do you explain murderers? rapists? robbers? did god FAIL ?? did he miss some human beings? THINK JUST A LITTLE BIT PLEASE!!! your bringing our entire race down by saying we are incapable of doing these things without god.

  • Comment removed

  • @rockmaneleveneleven Unlike the bible which says killing is bad stealing is bad but if you fuck up and get "god" angry he will allow your neighbor to rape your wives in front of you. HUMANS created morals not some tyrant in the sky.

  • I propose Tinkerism, the Santatarian theory of abiogenises where mankind was in fact constructed by the elves.

  • You both are stupid for wasting time on this video hahaha and before you try and get smart so am I d-_-b

  • hehe......spacing out

  • In the beginning there was nothing, and nothing happened to nothing, until nothing exploded, and created everything. Then, the nothing that became everything magically rearranged itself for no reason into self-replicating complex life forms, that became intelligent beings that believed in God. Makes perfect sense. LOL!!!

  • Uh, who is that believes that, you moron?

  • Um, You make no fucking sense..Dumbass.

  • I'm asking your sorry ass who believes what you wrote there.

  • Um about 98 percent of the worlds population who is NOT Atheist so SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!

  • 98 percent says nothing exploded and created everything?

  • NOOOOO man damn. 98 percent says nothing didnt explode to create everything. 98 percent believes that what exploded was created by something. And thats my point to Atheist.

  • Yeah, and if everything needs a creator so does a god.

  • And by the way, nobody said nothing exploded and created everything, get an education on the subject before attacking it.

  • Yea thats what I thought u aint gon nothing else to say so u say u say the same shit as everyone else. I dont need an education on something thats not true and obviosuly u aint got one either cuz u havent given no proof... LMAO Ur a Joke dude and so is your belief.

  • Atheism is not my belief.

  • Yea it is ur defending it

  • I'm not defending anything, much less atheism.

  • So why are you attacking me then playa???

  • Don't take this personally, but that's because you're a bloody idiot.

  • No looks like you're the idiot for replying to comments that dont even concern you and defending a certain belief that you couldnt care less for when you know atheism is ridiculous.... Oh and I'm not the one who uses words like BLOODY LMAO.

  • Actually I'm an atheist, but that label doesn't describe what I believe, just a thing I disbelieve.

  • Ur stupid dude... way to technical and too much of an ASSHOLE to talk to. Athesim is still a belief. You said Atheism is not your belief which you're implying you dont believe in Atheism but now you wanna say u do believe in it???? Whatever man. I'm done.

  • Atheism is a disbelief not a belief. It's really that simple. I don't believe no gods exist - I just disbelieve in all gods I've been presented so far.

  • whatever.

  • good statement mate and some on your bud

  • "son is the father of man"fyi is probly referring to jesus as the son(of god), and he is the father of man.

  • You think too much. Life is simple, read a bible.

  • I don't understand, why people tell their children Santa does not exist, and the kid almost always ends up discussing, "Santa can't exist, because no man can fly around the world in and deliver presents to every family that celebrates christmas in one night." And the other person says, "Well, he's Santa, of course he can do it."

But still, they don't believe in Santa, but similar things can be discussed about god, and they still believe in a god....doesn't make sense to me in the slightest.

  • well maybe i don't really care, i just find it offensive that people post stuff like this, and its not just the christians, every religion finds athiests offensive. and i am not trying to convert people, because i know that there is nothing i can say to change there mind. so if i offended you then whatever, i'm sorry. there you happy?

  • "every religion finds atheists offensive."

funny because i believe in the Qu'ran it says that non-believers who live good lives can get into heaven, but believers in another god cannot. I would modify your statement a little to this

"Every religion finds every atheist and every other religion offensive, even the sects with a religion find offense between themselves."

that would be the correct statement

  • I don't understand why you are continuing to argue with a 15 yr old girl. really i don't, i'm gonna go and forget about this little argument, and i think that you should to, can we at least agree on that? goodbye

  • i only wrote one comment so i wasn't continuing to argue with you but i will stop if you are that angry.

  • If you did not want to debate or ague, then you should not have posted at all. Youtube is an open forum, with statements and ideas and lots of other things representing in video's. You posting your statement here means that you will be called on it, if it is illogical or even if someone disagrees with you. If you are not ready for that then do not post. Age does not matter I know several 14/15 years old that can pwn 60 years old with all their experience.

  • LOL

  • Virtually every atheist find people with views like that offensive.

Interestingly, however, most atheists don't find the concept of religion itself, or theists, offensive, it is only the manner in which that particular religion affects the world that may offend the atheist.

Good thing religion teaches tolerance, eh?

By the way - Buddhism is, in the main, an atheistic religion, although some Buddhists are also theists. Do all religions hate Buddhists (including Buddhists themselves)?

  • Way to generalize the whole atheist community there.

  • really? I dont think so.

  • I don't _believe_ in you God. When I die I won't answer to anyone. Life is the only existence I will ever know and I want this world to be as good as possible. I don't care squat about what says in your Bible, I only care about what is best for everyone now.

You on the other hand can sin as much as you want and accept Jesus and be forgiven. To you this world is just temporary. You are the one who can do your own thing.

Btw. by acting in that manner, you don't exact.y inspire others to convert.

  • i respect you, ur not attacking people for there bealives like most ive seen on her ur just denouncing religion ( from what ive seen ) but ur reason for not liking religion isnt too valid because people will kill over anything, theres genocide and ethnic clensing every over race so its not really religions fault its the peoples

  • One thing I`m tired of is people saying "Well, I think I`m Agnostic because I don`t know. Atheists think they know everything"

Being Atheist does NOT mean "I KNOW that there is no God! Suck on that bitch!"

    It means "I don`t believe there`s a God"

All Atheists are Agnostic because if you ask them "Do you believe in God?" they will say "no"

BUT if you ask them "Could there be a God?" they will say "maybe" or "I don`t know." and that`s Agnosticism.

It`s purely a matter of belief.

  • His existance is proved by the life we see.

Evolution can not explain where all the material came from to make all things observed.

Science can not answer this question, everything which is made up from matter has to be created, you can not get something from nothing, and that dear friends means the existance of a God.

Only a God can make something out of nothing as He is Spirit and He is all power, all power=energy=matter=inteligent design.

  • Evolution is not a theory about where all the matter comes from. It is just how things change via natural selection.

Science actually can answer that question though. It's called "nuclear fusion". In the sun for example, two hydrogen atoms fuse into helium.

Then large stars that have burned through all hydrogen, then can start fusing 3 helium atoms into a form of carbon. This can go all the way up to iron if the star is big enough.

So it's mostly gravity that is the root cause.

  • I apreciate your comment but....

There has to be something there to get nuclear fusion.

I am on a quest to find out what was the first matter ever created, from this you may be able to get substance for life.

But we are dealing with a viod, absolutely nothing.

There has to be an explanation, and the only one I can come up with is inteligent design, cosmic evolution has no answer.

You need matter 2 make planets etc.

  • The cosmos can not evolve, it is not a biological organism.

  • "Evolve" can be a general term too. For example, the "evolution" of dance; or how dance has changed with time.

When someone says "the evolution of the cosmos" they just mean how it has changed since it`s beginning.

  • but change over time is still not evolution.

Ice melting to water, is not an evolutionary leap.

  • Yes protons and electrons were formed during the early Universe right after the big bang.

I can assure you there was never a void or nothing. That is not possible. Nothing is too orderly to exist, total chaos could be the only default if there is such a thing,

This universe may be one of many that form an infinite multiverse. Or another possibility is the universe had an infinite cycle. (the 2007 theory, not the crunch). We will have a better idea in a couple years.

  • We just put this space telescope in orbit. We are still testing, but it is returning amazing pictures already. So once it is calibrated, they can begin working on that.

    Look up "kepler telescope".

  • The Huble has been up 4 yrs, and no dramitic new evidence of how it all got there was discovered.

This will be much the same i expect.

They might see God waving at it though. lol

  • Hubble has been up for almost 20 years! Kepler is WAY better than Hubble. It's like comparing a computer with a Quad core 64 bit CPU to one with a 386.

If we end up finding evidence of some sort of god, then that would settle it. I wouldn't be an atheist anymore, neither would anyone else for that matter. The chances of that are pretty low though. I'd say it's about even with the odds of finding a celestial duck that laid the big bang singularity like egg. lol

    It will be interesting.

  • The evidence is all around us, but it depends how you want to interpret the evidence.

To me when I look at a new born Baby, all I can see is beuty, a body which has design and a purpose.

And that design to me is in all things from man made objects to the small things like a bee, it has fantastic design and a important purpose.

  • I was with you up until "design".

People have teleological minds. Meaning we see patterns and think in terms of design and purpose. So that is why things appear that way.

If you look into natural selection you will see that what looks like design is actually genes being chosen over time, based on which ones help something to survive to pass on those genes.

I can understand your thinking though. Natural selection does have the illusion of design.

  • "Cosmic evolution" has absolutely NOTHING to do with Darwin's "Evolution by Natural Selection"

There are a great many hyppthesis as to how matter got here in the first place. Look up "multiverse" or "big crunch" just for example. You are missing the very important point that when science talks about the universe, it is talking about "the OBSERVABLE universe" and no scientist has ever implied that that was all there is. There might very well be *natural* causes operating outside.

  • I know their is a difference between Stellar and Macro evolution.

    One happens, the other didn't.

  • ...

    you are hopeless.

  • Answer this!

If I had a container, and in this container it was minus 270 c below zero, it was void of light it was in a vacuum, it had no water or gas, it had no matter.

Exactly like our void was before any cosmic event.

I left it for 20 million yrs, and wen I came back would i find New York City in it?

    Would I? Yes or no!

  • Are you that stupid?

  • If god (no capital letter intended) created everything, who and how created god?

  • Again, as stated before, the universe was never an empty void.

Please learn how to read English, or at least how to write it.

    Oh, and by the way

    "-all power=energy=matter=inteligent design."

That`s not an equation; it`s more like a rambling chain of nonsense.

    and it`s spelled "intelligent."

  • You sed: Again, as stated before, the universe was never an empty void.

Thats a copout! No answer at all, none of you evolutionary thinkers have a plausable arguement.

It had to of got there some how, it didn't just majicaly appear.

shrikechan, your an idiot, and you are wrong, their is A God, problem is you are to proud to admitt it.

    One day you will!

  • keep telling yourself that buddy.

  • you are one to criticize others for not having a plausible argument when you don't even have one yourself, you assume that god magically poofed everything into existence out of nothing,

How is that any different, do you not see the hypocrisy?

  • "Evolution can not explain where all the material came from to make all things observed."

Now that's just stupid. Evolutionary theory does not attempt to answer that question, and doesn't need to answer it to be valid. What you're doing is to say that "two" is not the answer to "how much is one plus one?" because it doesn't provide satisfactory answers to OTHER mathematical questions. As I said, it doesn't need to to be valid.

  • "i dont see any reason at all (as a suicide bomber blows up in the distance) to criticize religion" lolz

  • Holy shit, this guy likes hearing himself speak, he takes forever to bring out a point. LOL I quit out after 2 minutes.

  • Many small brooks unite in a large river.

  • stfu!!!!

  • and if i dont lol aghgaagag

  • learn how to type a sentence without looking like a little dipshit asshole

  • wow, I didn't understand half of what you wrote. You should work on your communication skills.

  • fuck yo maama

  • Dude get some correct grammar please or at least some decent spelling. Please.

  • Whats spacing out?

  • when you stop randomly to think about somthing oblivious to everything around you

  • Hey TT. Big fan of your videos. Just a little something I wanted to say: I think you really like your long hair, but I think you'd look really good if you cut it. :) Just something I wanted to say, not forcing you to do it. ;)

  • Awesome!!!

  • listen, there isnt a god who created the universe, man and earth. RELIGION WAS MADE FROM THE CAVEMEN WHO DID NOT KNOW WHY LIGHTNING STRUCK AND WHY THERE WERE THUNDERSTORMS! they invented "god" to give an answer to their people to why these things happened. and it has put people at ease ever since then. I do believe in spirits and some form of spiritual god, but that is it. my grandama died 2 years ago, and every year my dimming lights turn on all by them selves on the excact day she died.

  • but that is it, i do not believe there is a reason to devote your life to jesus and the prophecies and all that bible shit. just live your live and make the best of it

  • it is time to step up, yes, you do have a responsibility to prove god does not exist, religion is the greatest evil and we atheists must wake people up . religious people suffer from a mental illness, there is nothing wrong with pointing that out.

  • You talk way too much.

  • This is on Mannix's playlist thing.

    Nice video.

  • I noticed on your channel you are interested in books authored by Aleister Crowley tooltime. This is a man that believed in demons. Why would you take seriously a man that believed in demons if you dont believe in God?

  • i think that you are confusing interest with some sort of sympathy for their beliefs. I have a curiosity as to what sort of things people believe and way, and the fact that people like Crowley believed out there things is simply part of what makes him interesting.

  • Don't have to believe in something to read. Just like reading fantasy novels, yes?

  • Exactly. That's all the bible is. A FAIRY TALE.

  • why was this the first video that came up when I typed "I spend to much time on youtube?

  • Ppl statin atheism has no point are pretty dumb.

It's the very fight for normality. For nature! You get born into a world where most of your natural desires are labelled "sins" by psychotic organisations (religions) that nourish hate amongst the human race. All in the name of CONTROL and eventually MONEY.

As long as you aren't one brainwashed fuck (as most of humanity is) you WILL feel the urge to change something - because there's obviously something wrong here.

  • Atheists started coming out of the closet when religionists started to try to take over science again. Science has and always will be an anathema to religion. Only an ignorant person would say that there's no evidence for evolution.

  • Convert to Christianity today, you heathens!!!

    or forever burn in hell!!

    convert or hurt!

  • lulziness

  • i dont understand what motivates people to speak up for their religion. so what if you beleive in god, nobody cares!

  • Youre like the more attractive and less insane version of amazing atheist.
