Jonnalyns voice no doubt is good..but its not the kind that you would want to listen 24 hrs 7 days a week..though she reaches those high notes...the quality is heavy and whining in high register..it may be sounding big and whole but it hurts the ears-no doubt the girl can belt but she needed not to belt in every songs that she sings-a lesson Regine learned thru her years of singing..that sometimes...the most powerful message in a song can be delivered in the softest of lullabies..

@TheLei25: Wala naman po yatang nag hi-hit ng high note na hindi lumalakas ang boses. Normal yun. As for diction, di na halos napapansin yun dahil nasasapawan na ng galing at ganda ng boses niya. Yung ''marami'' na sinasabi mo, yun yung mga hindi maka tanggap na kay Jonalyn napunta ang pambihirang talent na pinanghahawakan niya. Sana mag move on na sila at tanggapin ang katotohanan.

Like Beyonce, joining a group helped her a lot to be noticed (especially that the groups they belong to are really good in harmonizing w/c is unique as opposed to just solo singing). Just because someone is in a group, doesn't necessarily mean she won't suffice being solo performer. Another thing is: Popularity does not define a singer's worth. Maraming may endorsements, billboards, and platinum albums, pero para sa mga tunay na may alam sa music, substandard pa rin sila. Mas unlikely nga diba kung sikat ka nga, mediocre naman performances mo? Try to reflect...

Jonnalyns voice no doubt is good..but its not the kind that you would want to listen 24 hrs 7 days a week..though she reaches those high notes...the quality is heavy and whining in high register..it may be sounding big and whole but it hurts the ears-no doubt the girl can belt but she needed not to belt in every songs that she sings-a lesson Regine learned thru her years of singing..that sometimes...the most powerful message in a song can be delivered in the softest of lullabies..
