@BloatedSensations The Obamacare legislation is several thousand pages long. Have you personally read it? No, none of us have. But, what I can do is go by historical precedent in which all govt. controlled health care (in Britain, Canada, Cuba, etc) ALWAYS involves rationing....always.

@Dixon607 Yes, you are right; there is a kind of "rationing" in the current situation, but that is not bc of "greedy CEO's" but bc of government control of the health care industry that is ALREADY IN PLACE (Medicare, Medicaid, "must treat" laws, etc.) Privatizing health care is not a perfect option, but it is the best.

They have been rationing health care for decades but it has become far worse since the advent of HMO's and PPO's. They decide what you will be allowed to use as far as prescriptions go, tests that may be done, etc. You clearly have no idea what you're speaking about. I've been in the field for 25 yrs. & have seen the insurance co. greed firsthand.

@BloatedSensations I guess it doesn't matter to you that Obama has no such thing as Death Pannels in the bill. Go back and read the bill and try to find it. However, you will need to put your child in front of a death panel under current process. That process will include a panel who has and continue to evaluate what procedures you can have. Obama's plan will stop insurance companies from denying coverage.
