Thanks VERY much for posting this. After just 15 minutes of solid practicing with the wrist technique I went from almost not being able to handle the puck at all to quick control with a streak of over 10 hits. Very, very useful from just a certain few seconds of listening and watching.

this brought back memories.....thanks for the post I went to howies hockey school when I was 12. I remember he told us his stick was curved so it would hit both both cheecks at the same time.

OH man..this brings me back - Howie Meeker as a hockey guy - hockey analyist for CBC in Canada and played for The Leafs for about 10 years I think. It's just crazy how far we have come in coaching - he was a bit of a dick to those kids eh.
