good review. ive never used the 92 series, but the M951 was amazing, not too many issues that i heard about. then again, its used by the israeli army, and thats why i even used it. i was on a military tour with a company called lionops
@billyshob Hey buddy, there may be many modified models out there, but Beretta USA and Italy does NOT produce variations of the 92FS and M9 with the exception of using nickel-plating, or ceremonial metals with the same design.
@condor5x5 I thought there were two models. The 92FS is the civilian model and the 92F is the military model AKA the M9, Military 9mm. Is this not true?
HEY GREAT REVIEW. I'm brazilian and there we use the TAUROS guns wich has a pistol same design PT 92 every now and then people ll come across one of those here in USA and they ll not buy it saying that isn't a good gun.I have one since 2007 i'd never had a problem with it.could you tell me if there's a mith behind that saying that tauros guns aren't good because i know that tauros it is a worlwide company they sell a lot guns to europe they cheaper too work the same way beretta does it .thanks
great video. lots of information i didnt know about beretta. i have one question, im trying to decide on the 92fs or 96a1 for a side arm for when i go hunting and home protection. i know the 96a1 is a larger caliber with would be better to take out to the woods but which do you prefer?
Thanks to you, the 92FS will likely be my next purchase (next week, in fact). A buddy is selling his and a few other items to help finance a 1911. As full size 9mm handguns go, I like this one very much.
Nice Beretta like your pistol grip and I think it was price that made the Beretta win the military contract. I mean if you have 2 outstanding guns and one is hundreds of dollars cheaper you go with the cheaper one.
I am always amazed with how informative your videos are. Every video that I watch of yours I learn something new!! Great video and keep up the great work.
@condor5x5 I do think your right, the review was very complete, well done.
looking back, isn't it ironic that with sigarms, there have been so many variations, and improvents over the last 25 years, while Beretta, maintained its base platform, albeit, they did perform minor upgrades along the way. I do enjoy both, and own both Beretta shotguns and Sig pistols. You fellas have done so many reviews on the P226, I have noting left to offer that hasn't already been covered.
@marvintheboon It'd be great to check out your review... everyone has their "own" take on it... always cool to check out another one! Thank you for the feedback!

Why did I think the Ruger P85 was the 2nd running contender to the Beretta M9?
kinkbotx 1 year ago

you dont think it had anything to do with the fact that sig P226 doesn't have a safety do you?
marvintheboon 1 year ago
@marvintheboon no, it has to do with cost, even the Army has admited it
DaytonaRoadster 1 year ago
@marvintheboon There were several speculations as to why (politics, domestic mfg) but it seems the most likely reason was the total package price.
