@Grogrosh I got really confused as well. It is the same phone just with a different carrier. As carrier changes they put some features and they change the name but the underhood is the same. Is like a car neon lx, neon sl,neon rt. Same underhood with slightly changes.

i have had a few problems with my galaxy s 19000 it wont play or rec videos or play music if i un install the flash then the video etc will work but then it downloads again and i am back to square 1 and the other day it froze i couldnt unlock it or turn off so had to take the battery out has anyone else had this problem?

Even today, after 1 year, this phone is great. I mean, it still better than the iphone 4 and, with the release of the GALAXY S2, the quality price ratio on the Galaxy S is unbeatable. +, the Android 2.3 for the Galaxy S works wonders. I had a HTC Desire and i sold it cheaply. I got enough cash to buy a new Galaxy S that i upgraded to 2.3. I will never use Apple Phones again. With the Android updates, HTC and Samsung handsets have a lot more life than any Iphone.

@Chillarn17 Download Samsung Kies and install it on your PC. Conect you phone to your laptop and open the program. It should recognize the handset and find the updates. If for some reason you can't find them trough Kies you can root the device and flash the updates directly. Look on android forums for the step by step guides.

I need to know if you can made video in 3GP format with this phone. I am using 3GP for extra long recordings i mean at least five hours long, and 3GP is able to do that. With my Sony Ericsson P1i i can record more than eight hours long video on 4GB memory card. Maybe i bought Galaxy S but it's cost around 300€ used over here. Ah one last thing. How good is the battery life on Galaxy S?

Absolutely fabulous phone, though sometimes it gets a bit of lag. But overall, it performs very well in all major areas that we use mobile phones in our daily lives. The browser is snappy and typing messages or emails is a breeze with it's swype keyboard. Kudos to Samsung.

And by the way, we see 99 iphone users who have disliked this video!! lol;-)
