You know Darrell, when you mentioned integrity I remembered what it was described as by the army acronym, LDRSHIP, Or "Leadership." Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage. Each had a definition. I'm just paraphrasing, but Integrity was "Doing what is right regardless of whether or not anybody notices." I always saw that as a very good definition of Integrity and character. It seems to me that those who hold to the pre-trib rapture viewpoint need also to think that there will be a third coming of Jesus.. Because at the second coming (1.Thess.4:16) the rapture would happen.. So in other words: Jesus is coming to earth the second time and all the believers come to meet Him in the air, but rather than come all the way down to earth and establish his kingdom.. Jesus returns to heaven and after some time comes again.. now the THIRD TIME!?

The virgin parable of Matthew 25 says the "wise virgins" go out to meet their bridegroom at *midnight* (not the second coming when every eye beholds him.) The word used by Jesus was "paralambano," a prophesy of saints received at MIDNIGHT (Matt 24:6) when a cry (not a trumpet) is heard. Midnight occurs at the end of the *first* of FOUR night watches of Jewish tradition, a period that begins at 10pm and ends at 6am. Once the church age ends, the seals of Revelation begin to open.

Paul does not refer to a "cry," but a "shout." The word "cry" used in Matthew 25:6 is from the greek "krauge," and means an "outcry in NOTIFICATION, tumult or grief." This is very different from the greek "keleusmati" used by Paul, meaning a "shout of COMMAND," conveying a call to God's army in the final battle at Christ’s return. There is likewise no reference to an archangel sounding his trumpet (or to resurrection) in the virgin parable.

My friend, we must not handle the words of Jesus so casually. He is God and every word he spoke will be fulfilled exactly as spoken. These are not "concepts," they are prophecies. The "harpazo" and resurrection at Christ's return do not occur at midnight when ready saints are received ("paralambano") into the chambers of the bridegroom. If you received an invitation to a wedding (Matthew 22:1-14) and got the dates wrong, how would you expect to attend?

You used an English translation of these very scriptures to support your own belief that these events are synonymous, however the Greek lexicon shows they are not. It is by these very scriptures that I have shown you the truth, but you do not want to hear it. The virgin parable does not in any way resemble the events of Matthew 24:31, when ALL saints are gathered to Christ and his return is visible to ALL eyes. Rather, at midnight, certain saints are received while OTHERS ARE NOT.

You need to remember that when the text was originally written it didn't have any chapters or verses.. rather it was just continuous text. So there's no reason for us to make a disconnection between the end of Matthew 24 and the beginning of Matthew 25 especially when chapter 25 begins with these words: "THEN shall the kingdom of heaven be likened to..." When? -> refering to what we just read in chapter 24:46-51!

The versification of scripture has nothing to do with it. What you may not know is that the words of Jesus were not (according to scholars) transcribed, but rather recollected. There is no way to know if a particular parable was, in fact, stated once or a hundred times, or in what order relative to similar text.
