@beachdog67 - Hi Ace - unfortunately we just had a "regular" camera, so no HD -- the original is higher rez, so I could try reposting a sharper version. Thanks for kudos!! (videographers were me & Patty)
Accurate description of how French Genius Impressionism founder, Claude Monet includes movement, accentuation of light in its changing qualities, intense colour vibration from short, "broken" brush strokes, immediacy, candid poses, mixed & pure unmixed colours, the art of sponteineity, exquisite light, haystaks, plein-air landscapes, with water reflecting nature, flowers, his spouse Camille Monet with parasol & their son Jean, & Camille at her deathbed, all by an impressively bright little girl!
wow, nice job :) in currently 10th grader and my history teacher gave me a topic to make a vid of "impressionism". ur video helped me a lot of how to start it out XD
I have to thank you for the so helpful and brilliant work you have done, It has been very helpful for my art presentation about Impressionism art movement.
I love your voice and enunciation! Also, many people go through life never seeing anything, but you have the eyes of a master and thus your life will be forever rich.
How old was Emma when she did this Treasure Hunt??? Is she, by chance, a Montessori student? Just curious. She did a FABULOUS job. I learned a lot, and watched with my 3 year old, who was enthralled! :)
@TheMamaFitz, Emma was in 3rd grade then, and was 7 years old. Her Kindergarden was Montessori based, and she was in a school with a strong commitment to "whole child" learning, but not actually a Montessori school.
Emma, I have loved this so much. I have loved seeing the light, water, flowers and colours of Monet's world through your eyes and now I am going to share them with my students who are about your age.
Thank you very much! And P.S. I think your tree is wonderful!
Emma and her collaborator have created and presented a lovely and sweetly charming story about the artist Monet which is uniquely enjoyable and fascinating! There can be no better explanation of art. Most highly recommended.
What a brilliant young lady you are, very well done Emma,i've learned so much from you about Monet, now can you tell me more about Matisse,Bonnard,Raoul Dufy,Picasso,Modigliani and Lautrec ?? = ))
I love this video! I use it in my elementary art class at the beginning of our impressionism project. The images are wonderful to get kids thinking impressionistically and the dialogue and treasure hunts are super for focusing on the tenets of impressionism.
its amazing how a young child appreciates art of a genious...impressionism is my favorite art of painting... keep it up kid, maybe you could reach your dream of becoming a reporter some day...
4 some reason my comment will not post, i am very tired but am trying again... this is not new i my life... monet has always been one of my fav's... spiritual as well as beautiful, i personally feel...
yes even when he began to lose his sight.... the spiritual continued, this reads a tad diff than the last post, but youtube continues, i appears, to do their own gig..
Emma, you're very talented!1 This is such a wonderful narration!! We can tell you have a passion for art. Would you be thinking about reporting on a life of another great artist like Monet? Perhaps Van Gogh....
very well done Emma, and they say kids these day,s are only interested in video games ;) you prove even children can learn about art and appreciate it. And you tell the story so accurat 10/10 ;)))
I am a grandmother, a photographer, and a new painter (watercolor). I enjoyed your video very much, loved your narration, and your light, water, and air treasure hunts! I often paint with my granddaughters (5 and 12 years old), and plan to show them your video. I think we will take a light and water treasure hunt, and take our paints and paper with us. Thank you for sharing your passion and knowledge Emma!
I love this video ! I've been an art teacher for over 20 years and this was a wonderful way to introduce my students to Monet I would love to own this as a dvd off line incase the web is down when i whant to show it is there a way? thanks my students enjoyed it too.
I learned so much from this video! What a beautiful narration and creative presentation. It captured my heart, just as Claude Monet's water lilies do every time.
Amazing.

Given the upgrades in internet technology in the last four years, what are the chances of reposting a high def copy?
