I wish ARTHAS would have been redeemed. The ending was total bullshit. They created such an amazing character in both life and death...and then....20 players gather up and kill him ...and nothing more , he just dies. There's no hint of him being redeemed or anything.
@KissMyBlade Considering of what he has done, there was no other option. I didn't think killing would have been the correct option, story wise, but it was a logical choice.

@narutoll this makes me think of the history of young prince Arthas who named his loyal steed Invincible, which he later on had to kill himself, to get rid of its pain, unable to use spells to heal his steed, one of the events which made Arthas decide to become a Paladin.... Later on returned from the dead with the power of frostmourne
This music makes me think of the History of Arthas who from a Paladin and prince of the human became the king of the Scourge and the end was defeated..Long live Arthas and WoW

@Selex501 I agree, WotLK was awesome for story progression. The scenery, the setting, the lore, it is the best I have seen thus far. Not just that, but also because we were facing a fallen hero, an icon. Blizzard did exceptional with the story telling.
Interesting fact. The Lich King Model in WoW has a mounted animation, that Blizzard didn't use. It's unique next to the human mounted animation so it makes me wonder if they made it for something they decided not to do.
My source, private server. Lots of boss forms just look like they're still and standing up when mounted, so this I do not understand.
In case you didn't know, Invincible was his horse while he was a Prince. I can't remember exactly why, but he was pushing his horse too hard to get somewhere or away from something, and it fell and he had to kill it.

@kelbyahawian The horse broke its front legs, and would have died. He was in a snowstorm or something like that. Arthas had no choice except to euthanize the horse, or it would have frozen to death.
