@MAG2Guitar It has it's ups and downs but overall I'd have to say that I wouldn't buy it again. I love it now but that's only after I replaced the bridge humbucker with a PAF Joe. The original gave off a ton of feedback. Anyway, playability is great and it's obviously a great looking guitar but my other problem is the nightmare of Floyd-Rose. I can never tune down properly (not even half-step or Drop-D) and it's a pain to change strings.
Oh no sorry if I came across differently but I don't have a problem with anything you said. Any advice is greatly appreciated because, like I said, I'm fairly new to this. I just think that that is probably the reason it could've been better. It was more experimental than serious and I will take any good advice and work it out. I'll admit that I'm much more comfortable on an acoustic and I have a lot of kinks to work out on electric. But seriously I appreciate it and I will keep the tips in mind
I appreciate the feedback. In my opinion, you're right about the distortion, way too high. Second, maybe I don't understand the concept of "cover", but I was trying to make it my own style. I'm not trying to be a perfect copycat if that's how youtube works. Finally, this was my first video and more of a way to get things rolling. Maybe SRV was the wrong place to start but there's always room for improvement and maybe I'll get around to trying this again on my Tele. I appreciate the help though.
im not trying to be mean in any way, its not bad for a first video, I love your guitar, i love sambora myself, its a great instrument for the price, keep working man, i would love to see more
ouch man, take off the distortion #1, #2 learn the song the right way, not trying to be mean, tryin to help, also try it on a strat w/o humbuckers, he plays it way differently, no distortion at all.
he plays Eminor7 to the high E on the 7th fret, then to a string rake from the low e string to the B string 9th fret, i will post a video response
what do you think of this guitar, may get one...
