why does everyone make meatballs with milk? i use olive oil instead it tastes much better. and sautee'ing the meatballs first doesnt make sense to me either, please explain?
i have made these 16 times this year for all different guests and yes even harcore italian guests..they brought the lemon chello and proccutio! and they loved them also! i showed them the video.. and gave it a thumbs up! italians pride themselves with flavorfull but very simple, fresh ingreidients. thats why the foods always so dam good! nice video thanks for passing on food happyness!
Wait a second here!!! At around 3:30ish he's saying 'you wanna lift and seperate.... just like a good bra'??? Did I hear that right? Oh my.... I thought you wanna squish 'em together. ;) hilarious.
There was a five star place I went to called Rafaello's. Mama Rafaello ran that kitchen like a drill instructor. She made all her own sauces and kept her recipes a closely guarded secret.
Her son was manager and she would bark orders in Italian and slap him on the head if something wasn't right.
It was great to go to a real expensive place like that and still have the old world family charm.
Tell Your Mama that her Nonna's Souce is all the way out in California! I buy it all the time at one of the "Sadly" last real italian Deli's. Now I know how to make meatballs to match the gravy I buy. Thanks! La madre fa il la cosa migliore!
I'm italian. If you will be in Italy, you will NOT find food like that.. That food does not exist here. Never seen it in any restaurant. In USA you only BELIVE eating italian food.. But is NOT true.
This is an Italian-American dish, it was invented here, nobody is saying this is truly Italian.
Yeah, we call it Italian out of respect for those who emigrated to this nation long ago and their descendants truly cherish their roos. Nothing wrong about it, right?

in italia non esiste una ricetta così, in nessun ristorante vi verranno mai serviti spaghetti con le polpette, per carità!
