  • do all 2005 3.5 se come with sunroof?

  • @ibbi270 I think you can get it without but all the ones I've seen have had them.

  • @Johnnysshop yes, you could get one without... I think the SL models don't have them, or the luxury models

  • @alexander1485 Ahh..

  • @alexander1485 the 2.5S and 3.5S don't have it its standard on the SL

  • I have this car and omg I LOVE THIS CAR. ACCELERATION IS SO SMOOTH.

  • @Krazyisthebest Very surprising for a 4 door that's for sure!

  • Mine, a 2.5 S of the same year, continues to be reliable as heck. However, like the OP said, it DOES suck in the snow. If I were in New England or other northern states, I'd go as far as getting snow tires for it, even though it's FWD.

This just motivates me to go all-out and get a used G35 next. That way, I'll suck in the snow, but have more fun the rest of the time. Altimas are still great cars.

  • Does this year have the ipod hookup to it?

  • @Premiess80 Nope :(

  • any issues lately with ur altima ? mine has 88k so far its been reliable ...thinking to keep it longer ..

  • @altimax9091 No issues at all. We did just sell it though. Actually turned it in on lease. They don't do well in the snow so we just picked up an SUV.

  • This is a nice car

  • @macktenful Thanks!

  • @Johnnysshop your welcome

  • nice car,

i got a 2005 2.5S as my first car and i love it!

I really want the new 3.5sr coupe tho :p

  • @degaik My Uncle has a 3.5 coupe. Very nice..

  • @Johnnysshop can u do a vid?

  • @degaik Wish I could. He lives about 900 miles away. LOL

  • i have the SE-R.. TEEHEE!!

  • @SHiFTnismo Nice... I would but it's the wife's car so she was lucky to get what she did. LOL

  • my mom is either getting this in a brownish color with beige leather or a grey matallic mazda 6

  • @TheBigc837 Both are nice cars

  • How many miles now ?

  • 98k I think

  • we got 82k i think. very reliable tho

  • im hoping to keep it till 300k (hopfully)

  • @ikwelsoyoushwit

It's a Nissan, it will probably last that long with routine maintenance.

  • Nice, but dirty car haha good review

  • Yeah, it doesn't stay that way

  • oh yea, that "got your trunk release, dimmer, something there..." is where the traction (mines blank too) control would go"

  • Ahh.. Who needs traction control! Although the car does suck in the winter. LOL

  • have an 03 V6SE in sheer silver with the 6 spokes... frost interior, love it. Mine currently (bought it 6 months ago) has 58,450 miles on it. It also has an auto too. Also has the sport package and I do hate leather too. Great review!

  • Kinda wish we would have gotten Silver, the Gray shows so much dirt. Thanks for watching!

  • @Johnnysshop Gray isn't too bad.

I think balck is probably the worst.

My moms sentra is black and it's horrible during the winter.

I have a gold 05 altima and I think it's the best colour.Shows little dirt and it also doesn't get hot during the summer.

  • Really nice video, shows almost the whole car, I'm thinking to buy one in a few months but i'm not sure if a want a 2.5 or a 3.5 I need to find another video like this of the 2.5 haha. to compare the options and mpg

  • Thanks! I'm sure the 2.5 gets really good gas mileage.

  • buying a 06 altima 3.5 se for $ 14 and got 26k miles,, what do u think about the deal?

  • Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. I haven't priced any used ones. Ours was 29k new so 14k sounds pretty good :)

  • so far how is ur altima running ..? any issues and how many miles does it have?

  • 90k. Runs great, no real issues.

  • i have 3.5 SE BLACK WITH BLACK LATHER LOOKS SO GOOD IN AND OUT NO PROBLEMS 73K ON IT , IS VERY FAST

  • Yeah, they are very fast. Almost too fast at times..

  • just bought an 05 3.5 sl, its very nice

  • I also have a Nissan Altima 3.5se and i love it ! its a very fast little car. it has 72000 km

  • Yeah, much faster than they look!

  • I hadn't when I made this video but I've since had to replace the ac line and a drivers side wheel bearing. Not bad for almost 100k. I did the work myself, parts were around $150 USD

  • my Altime is the same .. 2005 3.5 but its white with a black roof .. 122,000 KM ..

i changed everything inside and made it look like a lexus from the inside and it cost me about 3000 $ to do that lol ..

its a fast car and it dose not have a lot of problems .. i really love it ! .

  • Sweet, a lot of dough though! Yeah, the car is the fastest 4 door I have personally owned.

  • thank u man

    u are great in details

  • yea the bose system is pretty damn good for stock lol

  • thats a nice ass car im bout to get me one. but i have one ?........ does the bose bass kick pretty hard for a factory system?

  • in these cars you have to use super unleaded gas....chevron or texaco it will get rid of any emissions bad smell ...i almost replace my cat converter ,which that was not the problem ...

  • Hmm. I've always used the cheapest gas I could find. 90k now with no issues.

  • you even have the same ipod dock as i do rofl...seperated at birth?

  • LMAO.. Maybe so!

  • you're altima is just as dirty as mine lmao...nice work!

  • Very nice review

  • Thank you!

  • Ah, mine only has 22,000 miles 'swell. Hopefully it goes a while longer.

  • I'm sure it will!

  • I have a 3.5 SE 'swell. Except mine has the 5-speed manual and chrome wheels. Those will cost a lot to replace if I screw them up...

  • I wanted a 5spd but the wife drives it mostly so auto with steptronic it was..

  • 790 a pop? Holy smokes!

  • I think the 2005 was the best model for it's generation. Did you know the factory wheel cost $790 per wheel to replace. That's if you buy it from the dealer. Good video.

  • I LOVE THIS CAR

  • Thanks! I see by your screen name :)

  • Hi,..Just bought my Altima 06 3.5SE with 30,000 miles last week. Was wondering if your engine burns any oil at all. If so, can you say how much. Thanks.

  • No, it has never burned oil. I think my wife just hit 84k miles last week. Besides regular maintenance (brakes, tires, oil, coolant, etc), the only issue we had was the black strip that meets the door and the roof started coming up but that was covered under a recall.

  • Thanks for posting this. I love the Altima (particularly this year and model) and I'm hoping to have one as my 1st car.

One question, would you recommend this car for someone tall, because I am 6'2?

  • No prob. Yes, there is a ton of room in this car. I'm short but my buddy is 6' 5" and absolutely loves the car and has plenty of room.

  • I'm also 6'2'' and I've been perfectly comfortable in my 05 2.5S. It's incredibly roomy- moreso than the G35 and Maxima my parents drive. I've taken mine across the country twice and it just soaks up the miles effortlessly. Overall, a very reliable, comfortable and fun to drive car. I'd look for a 3.5 if I were buying used since depreciation would have minimized the added cost of the V6. The icing on the cake is that Nissan's V6 is among the more bulletproof motors on the planet.

  • Yeah, I've heard that the Maximas don't have much room. I test drove an 05 Altima 2.5 and I had a lot of leg room. Not much head room, but I can deal with that. I can't deal with my legs not having space.

  • good im gettin mine today

  • Great car, have fun with it!
