I'm entertained by the comments on these vids of people defending this movie because they think its the best movie ever. I'll just say this. I haven't seen this movie; don't want to because I don't really care about transformers and love watching Spill reviews. I have watched movies that I really liked but I knew they were flawed as hell and aknowledged that and the fact alot of people were going to hate it. The moral of this post is: stop getting asshurt when someone don't like what you like.

@CruuushaL "Characters" are nothing but bad comic relief. Actions scenes are so badly shot you can't enjoy the action well. You can't tell which Transformer is who. The jokes are either stupid, immature, or just plain unfunny. "Sad scenes" are spontaneous and stupid and then you immediately get the same mourning characters laughing their asses off and exchanging horrible dialogue in less then two minutes, Finally, the Transformers themselves are secondary characters int their own franchise.

Michael Bay is a terrible filmmaker, and he can't write a script to save his life, but when it comes to CGI and special effects, he is the most talented person ever born.
Uh, he didn't work on the movie in every department, he only did the direction and that's it, he didn't write the script nor did he do the special effects.
I wanted a story that wasn't full of plot holes and inconsistencies, characters that were believable and likeable, the focus being on the TFs themselves as central characters instead of props, coherent editing, and dialogue and humor that didn't insult my intelligence. Other movies know how to do that fine, so why shouldn't the same be expecting of these movies? Would anything be taken away from the robots and destruction if they were complimented with those elements as well?
The fact that this movie did so well is a testament to how utterly retarded the average movie goer is. If you saw this movie more than once you need to be force serilized
u know, the movie never said it would be intelectual, or that it would have a major plot twist or something. i went to see it cause after the first transformers which was awsome, i wanted more giant robots and explosions. thus, i loved it. and i'm not stupid either, cause i also liked watchmen and inception for completely different reasons.

We were watching a Bay movie called The Inland for our Bioethics unit. It started out with a great premise and idea, but because this is a Bay movie I knew it was a matter of time before the story would be replaced by explosions, fratboy humor, and special effects and I was right. We're about an hour and a half in the movie and when we had to leave alot of my class thought it was stupid which shows that Bay can't tell a story. Im actually enjoying though because I knew it wouldn't last.

I watched this movie again recently. It's actually one of the few movies I can safely say is WORSE to watch a second time through. It was just long and drawn out and torturous. I'm hoping the third movie won't be so wretched.

I wanted a story that wasn't full of plot holes and inconsistencies, characters that were believable and likeable, the focus being on the TFs themselves as central characters instead of props, coherent editing, and dialogue and humor that didn't insult my intelligence. Other movies know how to do that fine, so why shouldn't the same be expecting of these movies? Would anything be taken away from the robots and destruction if they were complimented with those elements as well?

We were watching a Bay movie called The Inland for our Bioethics unit. It started out with a great premise and idea, but because this is a Bay movie I knew it was a matter of time before the story would be replaced by explosions, fratboy humor, and special effects and I was right. We're about an hour and a half in the movie and when we had to leave alot of my class thought it was stupid which shows that Bay can't tell a story. Im actually enjoying though because I knew it wouldn't last.

Now to be honest, I liked the first Transformers. I thought that, even for it's flaws, it was a genuinely entertaining film that was pretty well made. But the second one, which I was really looking forward to, was just awful.
