You can see that Daria was breathing hard, which means she was running to help.On other hand I am not sure if it is allowed to throw the ribbon inside the field.

@elisabolognesi A volte capita, per questo di solito le ginnaste fissano la bacchetta al nastro con dei fili. A me è capitato più volte di vedere una bacchetta staccarsi dal nastro. :S

Daria was very kindly, otherwise very crafty...she knows rules of RG, gymnast must have her personal ribbon to complete her routine. This act could be a clever move to oust a valid rival from competition

Gracias a Kondakova que presto su cinta para terminar la rutina....Creo que eso muestra el buen espíritu de competición por parte de estas chicas.

Este error es mucho más incómodo que un nudo... y todavía no tener la cinta de repuesto....

Recuerdo que también le sucedió a Alexandra Orlando en los Panamericanos del 2007...

i'm not an rg expert. that's what's written at the FIG site:"As for Staniouta...she definitely was the most misfortunate gymnast of the whole tournament. During her Ribbon routine, the ribbon was cut off from the baton. The Belarusian gymnast had no spare ribbon at the corner of the carpet and, when she was given another ribbon, tried to continue her routine. Nevertheless, this was against the rules and her performance on Ribbon was eventually disqualified." It really seems to be Daria's ribbon.
