I just bought an 04, 81k miles, what kind of problems do these cars have?

@poohpoohcaca 2004 is a different model than mine. No major issues with ours, transmission is getting a little loose around 100K+. Engine mounts also needed replacing recently.

I have experienced a ride in a CLK 55 AMG from 0 to 200 km/h on a road with the limit 50 km/h and I say that was ADRENALINE. After that I needed quarter an hour to at least hardly be able to stop that unusual trembling in my body. I just love that car.

I hope that everyone can feel that rush in a sports car at least once in a lifetime.

W209

new body style

more expensive to buy

362 HP @ 5,750 rpm; 376 ft lb @ 4,000 rpm

looks like w209 will only get worse FT LB because you need higher RPM to get it, but you get about 20 HP more.. I would stick with W208 because its way cheaper.

I have an 05. It looks a little different that is probably a 2003 or lower I think in 2004 they started making models that look like mine. When I get my new video camera I will show you guys what my CLK 55 AMG looks like.

@ryanthedude853539 nope. 2002 was last year for the W208, the older body styles, in 2003 they started to make w209 your body style. I posted some specs about power differences of both. not much difference, just a huge price tag ;)

@4MATICbenz my brother just got the W208 2002 clk55 AMG in really nice condition and low milage for the year, and sooooo much cheaper then the next year w208 model with only about 20-30 HP more and huge price tag!

@NoxNoctisUmbra lol um i think your a little confused...they are two completely different cars...the w209 is a 7 speed automatic transmission (most cars)...and the W208 is only a 4 or 5. a CLK 55 (2003+) would kill a 2002 CLK 55 anyday.
