This bike is for sale. $300.00 US for anyone in the area of Bowling Green, KY. PM me if you are interested. You can't build one for that. It still runs great. I am working on other projects now and need the room.
Well hey, this bike is totally street legal here. An actual legal moped. Of course, I may have exceeded the speed limit on my street here making this video. Opps.
OK now I have to show you the peugot and 27.2 cc stihl blower motor. Yours is more practical and nicer, but mine is scareyer LOL adrenalyn,,,,,better than coffee and more dangerous.
Thanks man. Yes, I would love to see your bike. I didn't invent any of this, of course, I just assembled it all from available stuff. But, I do think this is a good way to go for something cheap, easy to build, and very dependable due to its simplicity. Let me know if you want any of my sources for parts and, send me your video or pics of your bike.
Hey Mudd, this can be pretty scary too. 35 mph on a bicycle is very entertaining. Fast enough for me at this point in my life. I would love to see your build.
Its commin. Probably Sunday when I can actualy breath some time. I need a new back rim though. Hitting railroad tracks at good speed snapped a spoke last spring.
Thanks. Well, one guy on the motorized bike forums has installed twin engines. I can't imagine riding that bike. Each one of his engines is more powerful than mine. That thing must really fly.
Well, it is not as loud as the camera makes it out to be. The camera was only about 3 feet from the muffler. It is not silent though, about the noise level of a 2-stroke leaf blower.
Thanks. Actually, I just stuck the cam into the side of a bandanna on my head. Also, for night riding, I am going to use the Joule Thief circuit to run a led headlight so it will be brighter and last a lot longer.
How much extra power does it have now that you have it broken in?

@ProjectMaster2000
This is just a guess but I would guess about 30%. The rpm's are now very much higher as well.

I like that tread - flat!

Thanks. Yes the cruiser tires are better for the friction drive than mountain bike tires. This was a very fun project and I am still riding it.

That is pretty loud..

Yes, I agree. I am using the stock muffler but, I have a design for a silencer that should work pretty well. It puts out a lot of power though.

Have you thought to turn the motor into a GEET system? could be fun.... I think you only need a coffee jar and a scouring pad..
Paul..

Paul:
What is a GEET system? I am not familiar with that.
Bill
Pirate88179 2 years ago
Its a way of using "used oil" or petrol mixed with water or any conbustable to make the engine more efficient.
do a youtube search for GEET or GEET REACTOR.
you will be astonished how easy it can be...
Thanks
Paul..
ps PM me if you want to know more..

All this being done by a "test pilot" with no health insurance. Please schedual testing when the local emergency room isn't full of Mexicans.

Like your earth battery better, haha, what mileage are you getting ?
JavaLessons 2 years ago
The engine is not broken in yet so I have not bothered to check mileage but, others using the same set-up are reporting about 150 mpg.
Bill
