i grew up watching voltron and as far as i can remember, Voltron and the Transformers were nothing alike, and i seem to remember Voltron happening before the Transformers, either equaly as cool and id go see it a 1000 times just because....and p.s. And, no way I'll see it if it's just a Transformers-style movie, thrown in the Michael Bay blender. It should stay up in space. Please, no Earth-bound scenes. That's a sure way to ruin it. I don't want any nerdy protagonists who befriend the pilots of the lions, no lame love subplot, no "cute" dogs, no silly parents, no racial or ethnic caricatures and they need to get good, older actors to play the pilots -- no teens. But since it's Hollywood, it's most likely going to be awful.
