  • Wait a minute. Did you say that the Sonic 2 Tiger game was from 1988? Sonic 2 came out in 1992. HELL, the franchise didn't even EXIST in 1988!!!!

  • @sonichockeyaug I swear, that is the date on the back of the game! I didn't realize the implication while I was reading it in the video, but I thought about it afterwards and decided that the bottom part of the cases were probably made in bulk. Since they were all the same shape, you could use a case from 1988 on a game release in 1992.

  • @edt1138 Good point. They did make a lot of games back then. Thanks for the clarification!

  • are laser discs mixed in with the records at thrift stores?

  • @HOSERSAURUSREX Sometimes.

  • God, that Batman was beautiful. Your videos are always great, man!

  • @AreYouCerealBRO Thanks man, I appreciate the king words.

  • Dyanimte headdy is special. Other cool treasure games that made it to gamegear. Mcdonald's treasure adventure and gunstar heroes!

  • @fakeplasticball Thanks for the advice.

  • Nice Diehard laserdisc.....I'm quite a Die Hard fan myself, but then Bruce Willis is just one of my favorite actors as well

  • @sethious1 I couldn't pass it up either.

  • @RetroNintendoGamer1 I've tried a bunch of times, but I have nobody to go with me to hold the camera, and my phone makes a terrible substitute.

  • Awesome laser disc titles - eseentials for any movie collection all of them.

  • @electricadventures I was pretty happy with them for the price.

  • :(

NEVER BUY STUFF JUST TO HAVE SOMETHING TO SHOW!!!

    lol

To bad about the Vincent Price game....that would have been killer to display.

And Tombstone ROCKS!!! One of my top movie favs...the movie quotes out of Doc Holiday's mouth alone make it a must watch!

  • @BigDaddyDarth To be fair, I will buy almost any game for $1, as long as I don't already own it, and I would never pass up a boxed game for a buck.

Tombstone is one of my favorites as well, and Val Kilmer's quotability quotient in this movie even rivals Willow for me. I wonder if they write the lines for him like that, or if he ad libs, or maybe it's just the way he says the lines.

  • Not all that much game stuff this week but still entertaining to watch. You need some sleep, I see you put some real dedication to your channel for sure!

    Nice Laser disc movies!

  • @Danny4842 Not really dedication, but with my new work schedule, I have to shoot video and upload after the family goes to bed. So it is a choice between staying up 'till 2 or 3 in the morning a few nights per week when I have to wake up at 6:30, or stop doing the videos. Ok, that sounds like dedication, but it is really just because I enjoy doing this.

  • Pretty cool finds with laser discs. Dont ever see any of those in my area.

  • @hornztx I didn't start seeing them around here until about three months ago, but now they're everywhere.

  • Fat hands nah, those are just Man Hands like mine. "I should just go to bed, but I'm going to do this instead." hey that rhymes. As bass fishing games go that is one of the best ones. I tried out the original GTA1&2 many times but its too dissimilar from GTA3 for my tastes, I'd recommend the GBC and DS GTA titles if you find them. TIger, a blast from the past. Dynamite Headdy, nice. Tombstone, Val Kilmer is great in that. Great classic flicks you got, cream of the crop for LDs. Awesome deals. :D

  • @TheBladeJunker My second favorite Val Kilmer role, with the first being a three way tie between; Willow, Real Genius, and Top Secret!

  • Great vids..iam always amazed how much gameboy stuff sells for..pokemon is gold!!! Keep on digging!

  • @Urbandiggers Oh, I've hit on a few gameboy scores in the past. Thanks for watching.

  • SEGA BASS FISHING! MOST EPIC PICKUP EVER!

I would have bought the boxed PGA game as well man. It's hard for me to pass those up because I rarely find them. I was going to buy a Judge Dredd but the pawn shop guy wanted $8 for it and I couldn't justify that.

I can't believe they wouldn't sell you that Hangman game. That would have pissed me off so much I wouldn't have gone back. Nice ST game though I have never heard of that one.

Tombstone is excellent but Unforgiven is my fav.

  • @TheFrugalGamer Unforgiven was very good, as a matter of fact, there are an awful lot of westerns that I thought were great movies. I think people get too tied up in the movies setting (space, the future , old west, etc.), and fail to realize that there is a wonderful story behind the set dressing.

  • @RetroNintendoGamer1 That's what I said.

  • STOP FINDING THE STUFF I AM ACTIVELY LOOKING FOR!!! lol

    Need some coffee?

  • @TheSegaStoner Which of those were you looking for?

  • @edt1138 The Sonic/Tiger handheld

  • @TheSegaStoner It is actually a pretty neat little handheld.

  • @edt1138 looks that way... to bad people didnt take care of them... it would be a lot easier to find them than

  • well done. I don't think laser disks were still around with the release of Batman.

  • @coachmillsblog I know they were still releasing them as late as 2000, because one of the discs I bought recently had that date on it. I was kind of surprised too.

  • Your getting a nice lazer disk set like the batman and gamegear stuff

  • @timeteam1982 Yeah, I'm enjoying the search for laserdiscs almost as much as video games.

  • Nice pickups buddy

  • @lvpepe38 Thanks friend.

  • Grand theft auto. :) it takes me back

  • @JacobRockz100 I never played it the first time around, but then again, I never owned a Playstation until a little over a year ago.

  • @edt1138 really? I got a ps1 in 2003 but played my uncles before. You sound like me with the dream cast that i barley got this year. I did not even hear about the dream cast until last year. I was a sony kind of guy.

  • @JacobRockz100 No, to me Sony is the devil that killed Sega, so I was extremely reluctant to buy one.

  • You made up for the lack of games with the awesome laser discs. Those are some of my favourite movies. To bad you didn't get the hangman game. Not wanting to sell something just because the price tag is missing seems like a strange way to do business.

  • @retroswede It's funny, I have been keeping an eye out for laserdiscs for years without finding any, but suddenly I find 2 players and a small truckload of discs in the last month and a half. On the game, the girl said it is policy not to sell an item without a price written on it because they don't want people trying to get a better price by removing them. Oh well, I just thought it was a cool picture on the cover.
