  • where abouts on the sandy river is this? Which exit area?

  • Oh and I point and break off snagged fish of any kind. They are not fun when the hook is not in the mouth the right way.

I only set the hook when I feel a tug, see my strike indicator (bobber) dunk down, or see the mouth open and close.

  • Come fishing with me and you may feel differently. Why would a fly fisher have to snag? I fish and catch 100s of salmon. Some are snagged due to numbers, but I have never snagged one at the sandy. Those fish are so grabby and easy to catch fair in the mouth hook inside out in the mouth dead drifting flies . No flossing there compared to the drift fishers setting the hook on every down and across flossy non up to downstream presentation across the river from me when i am fishing my killer travel

  • All fly fishermen snag fish. Top of the head, outside the mouth, in the back, through the fins , in the belly. Nuff said .

  • Hard to floss on a dead drifted fly. Fair in the mouth with the egg pattern's hook inside out to the mouth.

  • Was a great fight!!! It took you on the whole river!!

  • Is Norm Macdonald filming?

  • see you can floss just as easy or easier with a fly rod!

  • @dirtbikemike69 Yea...but that's not flossing...

  • i think its above

  • i dunno but it really looked snagged.

  • Is this above cedar creek? or below?
