@Gamewizard1 It's been rumored, but to take a PC MMO and convert it into something that a console gamer can play with a controller isn't an easy task. So, I'm not sure, honestly.
@MovieMaker1302 The constitution class is still an option, though you can use modern designs, too. Given the longevity of the Excelsior class in TNG, it's not impossible that a design, such as the Constitution class, could make for a viable ship using modern technology, components, and materials.
They're more difficult than they were in the first few areas of the game. You get used to the AI, though the tricks that come with more advanced weapons always can throw you off.
For your own character, at least as an engineer, I have 80 skills available (though some are locked as I'm not high enough rank). Bridge officers have their own skills, and they can learn new skills from either other bridge officers or station personnel.
I just counted and there are indeed 80 areas to assign skill points. Feel free to disagree, but I just checked, so I am accurate with current game standings.
alright i was just wondering how long the game will staying new and exciting for me, im a big star trek fan and this episode your showing in this video reminds me of a typical star trek episode.
Also, be aware that there are already plans to add in new content for the higher levels within the next month, and a major update patch coming 45 days after release (so just over a month away on that, too).
With how large the Star Trek universe really is, I wouldn't be surprised if we see new content coming for a very long time.
All game play includes quite a bit of space and ground combat.
That said, I've found the missions to be distinctive enough, despite having those same elements. And with the episodes (as I've shown some video of here), the stories are interesting enough that it definitely seems diverse to me.
Even the patrol missions, which are more routine (and I haven't posted video of them because of that), get diverse and quite interesting once you hit Lieutenant Commander.
Would they make this game on consoles

Why are you fighting with a constitution class? I thought this game plays in the future of star trek?

Thats the way it should be, the universe is infinite, as should be star trek.

I agree!

That's exactly how it feels when playing it.

Whats your take on the game? are the missions interesting? are the missions repetitive? is the game play repetitive?
