I've enjoyed 2 tasty meals on Amtrak...Both on Train 19, the southbound Crescent. The first meal I had was the salad, 2 cod filets seasoned with thyme and lemon, the thickest mashed potatoes I've ever had..which were amazing..and had chives, and some broccoli. Plus a major slice of cheesecake...meal 2 was essentially the same but with a large steak the next year.

The only problem with this video is that one is likely to gain weight while watching it!

(Just kidding!) Seriously, I have had many wonderful meals on Amtrak trains over the years. fir instance, my wife and I had a wonderful dinner on #49 leaving New York, along the Hudson River.
