It's a Land Rover Discovery from a toy rc truck made by New-Bright , it's discontinued and maybe in garage sale or in local add you will find one ,,, good lock ... Max

Yes it can work, have to weld some capasitor on it, but it a collection antique motor, so i wont do any thing to change it apperence , it was made to run on 2 aa batteries only. have a pastic model that i mod, you can see it on my channel, look for rc johnboat whit outboard.... have fun

I have good news for you ! The leafs are made whit metal strap from shiping crate and i solded 2 brass tube on for the shakels at eatch end whit silver rod and flux. Max !

The body is from and old rc toy ( New-Bright crawler) mounted on my Wheely King. Look for a new bright rc, not bad for the price but do not expect much of it ! under $100

@madmax160764 NewBright isn't too bad, they're dirt cheap so if you break one they're easily replaceable. I had a couple of those Hummer H2 SUV RC's in my basement over the summer from when I was younger. I sealed the transmission, motor casing, battery housing and servo's and did something close to what you did. But I can definately say that yours looks a heck of a lot better.

HI ! Firts you need a new rc grade 4x4 truck, i use a mod wheely king, cost me over $700 from now, dut if you like something cheaper whit a real scale 1:10, look for tamiya cc-01 trucks for $200 or less +( radio+revever+servo $50($250)), Just have to change the body for the new bright LR3 body Look on you tube to see videos of - Tamiya CC-01 LR3

Or like me , wheely king for $185 + expend the wheels base at 11.5'' distance, install servo plate on the differential and that it

Top speed is over 3mph ! I use novac 55t motor whit 14t gear.

I gear it down for torque and brake controle for crawling.

Use to run over 10mph whit the stock 27T motor.

2 speed tranny is a good choice whit a traxxas TQ-4 radio

@madmax160764 ok thank you for the info, im still deciding whether im gonna get the kit or rtr, if i get the kit im prob gonna get the RC4WD 4 channel radio, set it up so i have a low and high range tranny w disconnect for the front wheels so it cxan be rear or 4 wheel drive, any recomendations for exactly which tranny to get from RC4WD?? i want to get one that will not require too many mods that i have to do to the truck
