ok you want my opinion? LINK SUCKS his recovery's poor like fuck causing deaths at semi-spikes under 10% His up smash is one of the worse. His side smash too. His grab has an INSANE lag. Arrows are slow and when not charged to the max useless. Boomerang help more the opponent then yourself. His advantages are: Zair Dair Up-b semi-spike(ground). Best jab. Anyways izaw is a very good link

it was actually his own fault that he didn't make it since as soon as he saw Lucas do up B, he could have double jumped and up B recovered onto the platform, instead he chanced it by trying to reach for the ledge

Only Toon Link's dsmash has that effect, Link's doesn't. Makes Link's an overall more effective killing move, apart from the fact it does more damage.

Do you even know what a Jab Cancel is? He didn't jab cancel there at all. What he did was time his Dsmash so the first swing hit, allowing the Gale to pull Lucas back, allowing the backswing to connect. That's all one move, it isn't a combo, it's just incredible sexy.

Have you watched Izaws Link guide? He had jab cancel right there and did that same thing without the Gale boomerang. And besides, the Gale boomerang and Dsmash aren't one move.

Apparently I didn't GET a good rating for voicing my honest opinion. I admit I was harsh in my criticism of Serpit (he is an exceptional player as well), but I couldn't help but feel angry at the way Izaw lost his last life (where he would've made it back had he been any other character with a decent recovery)... And at least I was civil in my speech.
