After Jesus came he removed old law and removed the burden of being circumcised. Now All people can be Christian and don't have to be circumcised. A lot of stories in the new testament, have Converted Jews telling Gentiles to circumcise, but the disciples tell them not to worry. I don't know about America, think it was a fad through the 60's. I can't believe people say a foreskin looks "gross" and "weird"! I'm American, and to me, an intact penis looks protected, moist and healthy. Studies have shown that if all men received circumcisions, the size of the female population affected by cervical cancer would decrease by 20%. That's reason enough. I have recently been researching this. I never questioned it before, but now after having it brought up by my boyfriend, and after my research, I have no intentions of circumsizing my boys. I watched part of another video and couldn't finish it. It hurt me so badly to watch the pain that that young boy was put through. The trauma is not just temporary either. It can last well into adulthood, and sometimes never goes away.

If you mean by naturally retracting back over and behind the head of your penis then yeah well people are born with different range of foreskin from very tight to very loose. For people who do born with a tight foreskin they're going to need to stretch it over time to make it loose. I was born with a tight foreskin but my parents loosen it up everytime they bath me when i was just a baby. Lucky :D

You're not losing the penis. The foreskin isn't essential for living or even reproduction. Removing foreskin removes potential of developing nasty infections and diseases. There is no real need for it.

Both the eyelid and fingers are essential for general survival. The foreskin, however, is not. Studies have shown that if all men received circumcisions, the size of the female population affected by cervical cancer would decrease by 20%. That's reason enough. Give me one well established reason as to why removing the foreskin would be negative.
The video states vulnerability to infection and irritation of the urethra. This isn't common. The foreskin is not essential for survival.

You can live without a toe or two and i assure you if they were removed infection rates would go down in toes. The answer is not amputation it's just general hygiene which most people maintain, besides you haven't seen all the messed up disgusting penises i have. You could surely live without a toe, but you won't be able to walk properly so having a functional full set of toes enables general survival. You just seem to have a sexual affinity for uncut based on what you've seen. Not all cut erections will look like that. It does not function properly. It is so much less sensitive. I hate messing with cut guys because aside from having an amputation that I'm expected to put up with they can't feel anything. I know a guy who has to beat off with a sock to achieve enough friction for his dried out callused dick to feel anything. Cut almost always look awful the ones that look "best" are the few that manage to almost look normal. I could care less if they feel a difference or not that is no grounds for amputation

You can't even compare the two things. That's an invalid comparison and here's why:
The "aborted" fetus never has to live with any of the psychological trauma of the procedure. It just ceases to exist like all the rest of us when we die. No memory of it, no having to deal with the effects of it, no nothing. It's like it was never conceived.
Don't take that, however, as a promotion for abortion, because I'm opposed to the procedure, however, I'm just showing that those two can't be compared.

I don't know what their motives were, but they have always told me that I was circumcised for hygiene. But WTF, I didn't know our penises are suppose to have a foreskin! That's awful, I'm sorry. If the doctor was smart enough, he would know there are treatments out there to help cure infections nearly ANYWHERE in or on the body. If it was a girl, he would obviously give her ointment and/or antibiotics to treat her infection, not cut off her foreskin. I hope you can find healing.

This video shows why circumcision is unnecessary, and possible even harmful. Yet for "religious reasons" (as if those two words were not mutually exclusive) it is still practiced to this day. I don't know what the statistics are, but I know that a lot of boys in the US are circumcised at birth. The old ignorance is hard to dismiss, even for doctors.

superherom is right. Even if a guy is unfortunate enough to get phimosis (about 1% of uncut guys get this), circumcision is still RARELY necessary. Women suffer far more urogenital problems than intact men, yet no one advocates removal of THEIR foreskin!
In Europe, phimosis tends to be corrected by application of steroid cream to the foreskin area (say 2X daily for 6 weeks). In addition, specific gentle foreskin stretching exercises (for a few weeks) usually prevents the return of phimosis.

I have recently been researching this. I never questioned it before, but now after having it brought up by my boyfriend, and after my research, I have no intentions of circumsizing my boys. I watched part of another video and couldn't finish it. It hurt me so badly to watch the pain that that young boy was put through. The trauma is not just temporary either. It can last well into adulthood, and sometimes never goes away.
