A character has around 14 on their counter. Reducing it doesn't sound like it will be easy since they have to set a lot of things up and hit them with the moves that reduce the counter. I can see rushdown character like Yuu and Chie making it hard for Naoto to set anything up if she is under constant pressure.

Well it all depends on how ASW balances it. If they make it too easy to reduce it than yeah it could be broken but I believe they won't make it easy at all.

This suposedly means Protagonist or Leading role. So the question is that since Yu has already been confirmed and has a different place on the website. Is the P3MC going to be placed in the Syuyaku placeholder since he was P3's protagonist?

@moonelie Wait forget what I said in the comment I removed. I looked at it closely, and looked up online that its the one hit k.o persona ability. It rarely has any chance of working, and its all so cost Naito a full 50% of gauge. I think they should change it to a 100% of gauge cause it could kill a person uber easily. I don't want to be winning, and the person pull it off on me twice-miss the first- then kill me in the second attempt.

@TheNotoriousMC2 Naoto's instant kill is actually her primary mechanic. That super only instant kills if she's reduced her opponent's Fate counter to zero (represented by the skull under their life bar) and only certain special attacks can reduce said counter in a round. The instant kill super also requires her Persona to be alive for her to use it, so it isn't the easiest thing in the world to do.

But this looks rad. this is one of the only Arc system works fighters im looking forward to, and sengoku basara x and hokuto no ken. In fact, there're far more 2D fighters than 3D ones - SF, BB, GG, MK, KoF, MvC, MB, AH versus Tekken, SC, VF, DOA, (and if you even consider Dissidia a fighter) to name a few. In general I love the fighting game genre regardless of what "D" it is, so I can't wait to try this out.

When i said it proves 2-D isn't dead i meant 2-D isn't as popular as it used to be. Like how Street Fighter isn't as popular now like it was in the 90's is what i meant. 2-D is far from dead, and this game proves that there is still life left. But the casual person will pick Tekken over something like Blazblue although i am a die hard Tekken fan i was just using that as an example. Casual people choose 3-D fighters over 2-D ones. @SpinDoctor91 it's true that 2D fighters are not hogging the market as much as in the 90's but much as I would love to agree with you (I enjoy SC/Tekken over most 2D fighting games save BB), I'm pretty sure most casual players would pick SF/MvC over Tekken. It's far easier to spam and still look good on 2D than 3D, where you have to factor in terrain changes, 8-wayrun and side-rolling on okizeme.
