Simcity Societies is shit. I still enjoy playing sc4 so much better. SC4 still feels realistic and you can do practically anything you want with it now with all of the mods.

EA didn't "ditch" maxis. EA owns maxis hence they can let any producer make a game in a particular franchise they want, not necessarily the smartest move, Maxis made "Spore" so they have a lot going on with that right now and you will doubtedly see anything about sc5 for a while

For those of you who want to consider Sim City Societies if you are switching over from Sim City 4,3000 etc.... This game was a waste of my $50 so dont waste you cant do taxes, be realistic, zone, make many buildings, great graphics but sucks..... You cant do much.
That was done on purpose so players can make a theme style city, but I guess that was a bad idea separating the realism from simcity. They should have still let maxis make it.
