I am always enamored of no-nonsense approaches, in all domains. Berezovsky, however, strikes me as someone who has just gone too far in this direction. Or is it that he just has too much faciltity?
Goddamn, he played all 12 of the in ONE sitting - a superhuman feat - and he played them so fast and perfectly. Amazing range of sound, from the softest ppp to the loudest fff! Each performance here can stand alone awesomely, but to think he played them one after the other live, jesus.
@jdog25140 Totally agree with you. This is an amazing performance and the recording (even though this is only in 240p) is fantastic in terms of sound and screenplay.
@newFranzFerencLiszt ^_^ Did Arrau play all the trascendental etudes in the same concert? Arrau's singles etudes are better than Berezovsky's, i know. But i think it's amazing playing all the set in the same concert.
he got God's hands!

I also like how the notes are clear and crisp.

It's not human playing all the trascendental etudes in the same concert. What a superb technique!

@sissichopin91 Berezovsky owns Arrau...I really can't understand it? Better again is Lazar Berman on some selected etudes.
