Sadly for Roger he is the weakest mentally out of the BIG 3. Rafa has his number as you can see at the Oz open semi 2012. Rafa broke him down mentally where Roger doesn't believe he can beat Rafa in the Grand Slam. Had Djokovic down match point at last year's US Open and blew it, next time they'll play that's in his head. Great player, my favorite to watch but was never tested mentally when he dominated once Rafa & Djoker figured him out, he broke down

@koky3301 Unfortunately, i agree with you :( I still feel like he has one more grand slam in him this year, either at wimbledon or the US. But, if he can't get it done this year, i don't think he'll have it in him to win another slam :(

Roger won this GranSlam one week before the New York stock market crash brought down the world economy. Since the crash Roger has had 3 heart-breaking 5 set losses in New York. The economy better come back so that Federer can bring the happy days back again at the US Open in 2012! lol

Truly amazing Vid. My fav Fed vid I think. Yes ISsef11, I agree. Djoko was still playing baby tennis then. Lord, how gorgeous was imperial Rog back then? I remember all the body language was with Roger when he came onto the court in the final. I was actually impressed with some of Murrays hitting, but Rog had that smile when he walked on court that said, "It´s mine, and you know it is."

And I remember the Andreev match; I was there. I remember basically everyone around me was pulling for Roger, especially when it went all the way to 5 sets.

Man I miss when Fed would dominate everyone.

Federer's best times ... I will surelly miss them, anyway ... Roger was and still is a genius in what he is doing on the court - his name will be forever inscribed in tennis history ... thanks for posting this video, reminds me why am I such a big fan

This was actually one of my favourite slams fed won because people had almost written him off and he had had a pretty terrible year up till this point but he played really well throughout the whole tournament especially in the semis and final and all the crowd supported him so much and wanted him to win so badly, especially shown in the match against andreev. I think this win overall helped him a lot to bring back the motivation and everything else for 2009.
