  • the evil it was at home...few time later rainbow die and born BN..really sad..because this is best line up since DIO age.....

  • Candice is so shy in this video! Very cute.

  • Waltzing with Ritchie!

  • I've got to buy this song; This poor video doesn't do it justice, i can't stand hearing these poor quality Audacity crap recordings by amatures, louder isn't better I just hear the pops and crackles just louder. Here's a tip for everyone do buy good recording software, equipment, don't use free software you found on the net or bozo gave you dude, Unless you want to sound like your bozo friends band of go nowhere bums smoking pot, or dudes get a real recoding program. And a Tech Geek 4 help

  • Impressive

  • Nice plaid pants! I was in the 80's, and this is still serious cheese man!

  • is she ritchie blackmore's wife at the beginning of the video?

  • @eliezeriero You mean Candy? yep

  • yah it is funny, not a fan of Doggie my self. Only Dio and Turner can sing Rainbow songs how they were meant to be. in my opinion

  • LA PUTA GLORIA !!!

    BLACKMORE =)

  • Is the whole text improvised? If so he is a genius

  • @0rion2309 My guess is that Candice wrote the words. Notice how when she steps on stage she is singing along (without a microphone), which wouldn't make sense if Doogie were just improvising. (Candice and Doogie both wrote lyrics on this album -- she wrote the lyrics to "Mountain King".)

  • Man,I wish Ritchie was doing stuff like this now a days.Put down the acoustic and plug in the Strat.

  • Ritchie is tuning Greg Smiths Bass (4:15). :)

  • ritchie blackmore he is the best yeah

  • I would love to see Doogie and Ritchie work together again!

  • a different version as usual from blackmore!

  • you are wrong, I have the whole DVD of this concert and it was a great night...check out the video I posted of Temple Of The King from this gig, there was also a stunning 13 minute version of Ariel. This was just a little incident probably, but he recovered.

  • i didnt say it wasnt a great night, i said it wasnt his best..in my opinion one of his best was the 1995 dusseldorf..same tour though.

  • Dusseldorf was a great night, but I wouldnt say one of his best, not even close, one of the better. If we talk about this Rainbow line-up one of the best was Arizona 1997.

  • i havent had a chance to see the show but i'll try and root it out or something - thanks :)

  • Waltzing Matilda at the start? Sweet. Classic aussie tune

  • 8.15 to 9.15 is just top notch

  • not the best rainbow singer at all, this is and was dio, but great job doogie isn`t bad but dio rules (songwriting without dio )

  • not the best ?

Maybe, but better than JLT and G. Bonnet

  • What's wrong with the guitar? Something puts him out halfway through this, and he does not recover very well! Check out the Duesseldorf version for how it can sound!

  • I'm tring to imagine the following: this song, with a young Bruce Dickinson on vocals, the regretted Cozy on drums, Ritchie in a scare crow outfit and a more inspired light show with lots of green and blue light... I can dream, can't I ?

And oooh oooohhh how surprizing: there were guys who didn't get the joke of the waltzing with ritchie interlude... Maybe they should check the meaning of this latin word ?

  • Good singer, when the song starts, but what was that Waltzing Matilda crap about? Even Candice looked embarassed!

  • The best Rainbow singer ever!

  • agree.

  • 2nd best - There's only one Ronnie
