hm.. am I missing something? I got as far as trying to show the heat is there. But I never got arrows. All the objects or whatever you call it in outliner, under perp, top, front, side, fluid1 and psphere1 don't show up in my outliner. All I have is what I created fluid1 and psphere1. I'll just try this again later see if I get any where.
@x900lbGorillax Look in the outliner under the word "display" and you should see a box with 4 little arrows, click on that icon and it should enable more stuff to see in the outliner. As for the heat issue, make sure everything is set to dynamic grid. Sometimes it takes a few tries to get all the steps, but once you get it down you'll be playing with fire! Hope that helps.
@deepfriedectoplasm, ah thanks a lot for you help. My problem was my own fault I realized I clicked on the wrong emitter. Some how I meant to click emit from object but apparently still got the wrong one! Sorry about that thanks a lot for your help on outliner!
@x900lbGorillax Excellent! Maya likes problem solvers. I also forgot to say that if all you're "stuff" isn't showing up in the Outliner, just fo to the Outliners Display Menu and UNcheck the box for DAG objects. That way, you can see everything that is going on in your scene. Cool, stay with it, it takes a while but it's worth it. The more you work with it the easier it gets. Cheers.

@deepfriedectoplasm That's exactly what I was looking for. After unchecking it I got all the same objects as your outliner! Thanks again though, I finally can understanding the fluid container concept an how it's just as it says a container to hold your fluids/fire for whatever you need it for. Excellent stuff! Glad I found your channel! Take care!
lol when you were like grab yourself a cup of coffee, i looked over at my desktop and well, I had a cup of coffee. :)
