Illyria is definitely one of the most interesting characters in the Buffy-verse. I think they did a good job making her go from whatever-she-was to a humanized version of 'an old one', especially considering that they didn't have that much time to build her character.

I've seen a couple of fan vids, and I'm sure it could be done with enough dedication and input from Whedon. And yes, Wesley has to be in it. The Illyria/Wesley dynamics of Angel season 5 was great, even if I missed Fred a lot.
Just a thought, have you read Hotpoint's Compelled series on tth, cause as I was watching this I was thinking all thats missing is Dawn and it was be the perfect opening cerdits for that

As for Connor, sure he was annoying in Season 4 (he seemed better in Season 3, since his motives were understandable and he was banging Cordelia), but with good writing he could work. And you brought back Faith and Wesley (agree that Illyria could have somehow brought him back)!

this is professional stuff! the editing, the music, it's flawless. favorited! as Angel said in "A Hole in the World", death is not the end for these guys, so Wesley could come back in some way. Faith would provide interesting dynamics to the group interactions. Regarding Connor......no thanks. can't stand him. this would have been a great series.....until FOX canceled it after the 1st season. i think you catch my drift.

BUT, I think with some good writing, his character could have really changed and gotten a lot cooler over time (plus he was all well-adjusted and non-whiney in the series finale). :)
At this point, Wesley is gone-baby-gone...however, there is a perfectly plausible way to bring Wesley back, that would have involved Illyria implanting in Wesley's body the sacraments that Knox had used together with part of her essence, using her life-force to support Wes's organic functions.
@sarahxxoxxone Yeah, I figured I'd take some flak for including Connor in this, but I figure he's well-adjusted enough now (post-Not Fade Away) to not create unnecessary drama and actually contribute to the group.
