@westarrr When a wolf isn't aware of you when you attack him from behind, that's an instant kill! Like in Hitman, you know? Pretty useful.

How do you do "Leg Cannon"?

@Vkkhamul Hold the left mouse button while running towards an enemy. Press space at the right moment while still holding the left mouse button so that you end up with your feet in the enemy.

@Hypogripho You gotta land directly behind the wolf, from lee, and attack upon landing (hold left mouse button before landing). Wolves smell you otherwise and react accordingly.

The ai in this game is fucked up it pretty much blocks all attacks.

This is because you probably just does one kind of attack. If you don't vary your attack pattern the enemies will recognize your fighting style and counter your attacks.

did anyone know that in this game if you try to sneak up on wolf with blood on your weapon he will smell you if you wanna clean the blood of hold shift the left click and lugaru will stab the ground getting rid of the blood allso do this on a downd apponet and lugaru will stab them and shoud kill them :)

Meh, I've taken two wolves unarmed on hard, which means that a skilled player should be able to take them out with weapons on hardest quite easily. Honestly.

An OT question: are lugaru mods universal?

I mean, since I have a Mac, should I be still able to use the mods that are in the forums?

Yes, they are. You can also use texture mods in the demo.

To my knowledge, you can't use campaign mods in the demo, so you'd indeed need the full version.

Same goes for weapon replacements; iirc, only the dagger is used in the demo, so you'd only be able to replace that and see the effect.

If you want to check out campaigns after getting the full version, consider downloading them with Matt Oakes' Lugaru Downloader, it's pretty good! I put the URL to it into the video info box for ya.

the back flip cheat! there is nothing else that one can do against the wolves?

How do you do that?

The backflip cheat means you backflip when a wolf approaches you. He is then stunned for a moment and you can legcannon his ass to oblivion.

Another way to handle wolves is to approach them against the wind silently, then make an instakill. Or you can stab them, bring them to the ground with a leg sweep and then pull the knife out.

Or you can press I in debug mode. Or Shift+I. ;)

When you click "Enter", there's a menu on the left and a map on the right. On that map, there's a red dot with text next to it. Click on that dot and you've just started the campaign!

I have a question. Is this game worth 20 bucks? I love this game, and I beat the trial, and It was great. But 20 bucks, I'm not sure. Will it last me a long time? Thanks!

I don't know whether the base game is worth 20 bucks, but as soon as you purchase it, you can play 2 addon campaigns made by users that are quite awesome. Also, you can make your own levels and play custom ones. And I wrote an app for importing custom 3D models to Lugaru, there are lots of custom weapons out there already.

And there's also a get-lugaru-free-thing related to ModDB, link in vid description.

Also, check out the wolfire forums and ask there why you should buy it.

1. Debug only works in the registered version (20 bucks)

2. You need to make sure you don't accidentially change the file extension of the settings file (use notepad!)

go in to your lugaru folder>go to data>in config modify debug to 1;

Play game>press ~ and write next codes:

wolfieisgod > be a wolf

wolf > wolf skin

quit ~ and press h to remake life

x to change weps

f to fire yourself up

The key to open the debug console changes if you've got a non-american keyboard layout. It's ö for the german layout, for example.

Speed run >0:30 - Kill the first wolf as you did then head directly to the 2 other wolfs.. jump so you land by the rock where they are and spin before you land, rabbit kick the wolfs together and head towards the last rabbit, kill the 2nd wolf and one rabbit on the way there, jump and flip when the cane rabbit sees you, wall kick it into the rock, you should land behind the last rabbit that you just lunch into the same rock ^^

I won't record speedruns in Lugaru because I'm basically past this game and am waiting for the successor, but if you'd post a speedrun as a response video to this one, that would be cool.
