it looks like the front of alexander alx200 bus body attached to a opatre pace body.............and the end result you get is......................bonkers and thats being polite, you could make a shopping trolly look better than this lol
a very simple but genial idea , this model of train colud be exported in italy where we have a lot of lines with a very little people moved , but wonderfull landscapes and views .
bit of a bumpy ride ,, gas turbine i was told by the driver ,, i suppose they keep this bit of line open ,,but they will never offer a rapid service ,, ok for just A-B ,
Why not have a class 141 or the RB004 do the job instead of making this?
The tech is already here... We just need to change the current vehicles we already have to new standards. It will reduce the number of vehicles that's going for scrap.
What an embarressment and a step back in time Its hasn't got any bogies for gods sake so it must give a shit ride. Think i'll be running for a bus if i see one of these approaching my local station.
The high pitched squeaking was due to a new belt on the flywheel drive, it has gone now. The sound was never going to be great as I recorded this on my compact camera.

Very good news.
I thought that the concept of cheaper teams in Britain was under threat because of that squeaking!

What's with the flashing head-board display? It seemed to affect both 139001 and 139002, although in each case, only one end...

I think that is not the PPM, it is probably something to do with the video. Been on it today
